I love this so much. No ego, no restraint, just passion and playing for the song rather than for the individual. You two know how to play your hearts out while giving space to each other. This is why the song is much more than the sum of your already big musical parts.

I heard this song at dinner time with my childhood friend and his family a week before he died in his sleep of a unknown heart condition. Driving through Wyoming and seeing endless fields of gold and hearing this brings me back to remembering his life. RIP Geoffrey Rodgers. Gone too soon. I know you walk in these fields.

This is a spectacular example of this song! My Dad would play this song to my Mom on the way to the Pocono mountains in the fall. I can still remember the smell of the damp air and see the beautiful colors on the falling leaves on the trees and The gold farm fields on the rolling hills. What a memory! Well done and thank you for bringing a memory back to life Wow

Great music spoiled by crappy video. IDK why music video producers don’t understand that less is more. They all try to prove how “creative” and “edgy” they are with their amateurish shaky cam, poor focus, low depth of field, and hugely annoying one-second cuts. Do they think people want videos that look like they were done by nonprofessionals with cell phones? Okay, we get the fields of gold, but I want to watch the players and how they play, not “artsy” shots of grass. Maybe people want to savor one view for a little while. Indeed, my favorite Tommy Emmanuel videos have one camera, one steady view.

At last - on the last but one comment - someone who's not led by the crowd and uses their ears... That standard slap rhythm sound that all these wonder-kids are using on almost every song nowadays is really irritating. In contrast the subtlety of Dominic Miller's playing on the original is a thing of beauty with wonderful rhythmic nuances - all lost here, to be replaced by more banal slap 'n twang.
