Jack Carrington takes pole position in the pigeon hide next to Andy Crow this week. The 13-year-old and his dad are out with Crow, as well as other friends and relations scattered across four hides on the farm Andy manages in Kent. They are shooting pigeons over stubble, and it could be one of the biggest days of the year. Meanwhile, antis have broken into a game farm in the South-East of England, killing thousands of pheasants in their attempts to 'set them free'. We meet the owners and hear about the emotional cost. Plus Paul Childerley hooks up with Jason Doyle and John Fenton in the Wicklow Hills of Ireland for a sika stalk, in the latest in our Barrels & Brass series with Sako rifles. How lucky is that young lad having Andy Crow as a coach? And who wouldn't like to share a hide with Andy? Nice to see youngsters like him getting out there and having a go. They are the future of the sport. Cheers from Australia.

Very good episode, Europe and UK need more laws against ara terrorists now. Oddly black color on the ara clothing now as it was earlier in around a dozen year period also.

Good show old chap. Those Sika are a tricky little deer to shoot. Was chasing them around the Kaimanawa's in nz this week, bloody hard to hunt in the really, really thick Bush we have here.

The excellent shows just keep coming. Another great one gentlemen thank you. I am looking forward to the new African Hunter show also. It is too bad that the criminals who wreck game farms and crudely kill the birds and animals they let go are not prosecuted to the full extent of the law. That would take someone to assist the police by informing on them and that doesn't appear to be happening . They have to understand that they are being more cruel than any of us hunters would ever consider being.

I have seen two separate crows with their head feathers missing. This was in the last two weeks and in the Republic of Ireland. Just thought they were molting or something? Would love to know what the actual reason is.

Started shooting at 15 had only fired 12 bore till I picked up grandads antique 410 to have a couple pigeons, got my license last year and only use twelve bore on the shotgun side. Then .243 as police won’t generally grant anything bigger for under 18s, for deer and foxes on the rifle side

So a pro meat eater is fined £600 for "harassing" vegans by eating a squirrel but vegans trespass, vandalize, bully, intimidate, and even assault hunters with little if any consequences. It is only £50 to trespass, yell, scream and shriek then spit in hunter's/farmer's face. It doesn't sound much like equal protection under the law.

Just to let you know you’re offer of discounted game fair tickets doesn’t seem to work , very disappointed , managed to get off work tomorrow so we were off as a family just went to sort out tickets for tomorrow and it won’t accept code can only get full price with no code or put code in and it won’t go to ticket page , nice idea but won’t work

pest control? Almost every pigeon shot will have a pair of hungry squabs waiting to be fed, and you wonder why the antis are up in arms. This isn't about pest control and if you think that you are very naive or stupid.what used to happen in the countryside stayed there but now there are lots of shooters filming it all with barrel cams ect. And before you all pipe up and say don't watch the videos if you dont like it,,, I've probably been shooting before most of you were a glint in your father's eye.In Mr Graham's case some of the shooting fraternity refer to our( countryside pursuits) as sport an easy mistake to make as it is regular publicised as that.Andy made sure to mention the layed crop that was taking a hammering purely to cover his backside.
