Andy a quick spray of Teflon ( Scothguard etc.) will stop the feathers from getting soaked and going black. Saves wasting shooting time changing birds, plus more birds to sell. By the time the birds are close enough to smell them they would be dead alongside them. Today's tip from Bad Bob Australia, keep up the great entertainment mate.
Great show again guys keep up the good work!! Wouldn't buy meindl boots tho! Had Dovre extreme boots replaced 4 times this past season... rubber rand pealing off and leaking quality has severely went downhill in my opinion they're as soft as s**t now. Used to get 2 seasons out of them can't get 6 month now Don't know if these are the ones Paul is using tho.
I'm from the usa ,I watched a lot of your video's. I was wondering is there going to be more video on pointing dogs. and do they do feild trails for pointing breeds? I have enjoyed watching these video's
Carlie, I know that this is irrelevant but would getting a Saturday job (as I'm only 14) with a gamekeeper on a local estate be a good way to start on the way to being a keeper? Kind regards Zac
Zac Bell Have you been on work experience at school yet? If not that is a good option. You can also go beating on a local shoot if you have one? It all helps
Why does Mr Childerley persist in calling this "hunting" ? Hunting is done with a pack of hounds. This is either shooting from an high seat or stalking. The term hunting in this context is an Amercanism and not what UK sportsman recognise as Hunting. I know it is pedantic but let us not become too American.
