Congratulations on the 400th. Lovely content, great photography. I hope Roy is going to give us his views on his pressies at some stage. Late but we'll blame the slow internet.
Ah, 90-wolf, you'll have to record 'The Street' for later viewing, Fieldsports Britain, is more important , and entertaining for you, ( and me too ) . Haha!
Happy for Andy Crowe. He is 1 of the nicest blokes on utube. No shit from Mr Crowe. Tell it to your face weather you like it or not . Going to buy alot of those shells.
Congratulations Charlie & crew! Looking forward to the next 100 shows. Haven't seen an Airgun Show in awhile though. Are you still making them? Cheers.
Good show this week Charlie and Company, but I did notice a slight error in the way Leupold Scopes was pronounced. According to the Manufacturer it's supposed to be pronounced as LOOPOLD, and not leopold . ( I'm not saying who did the' mis-pronouncing', but he's a good photographer!! Congratulations on your 400th show. You've all done really well. Thanks!
I am also aussie so I know where your coming from with that. But even there not everyone is like you. We grew up learning just how important recycling is. However, after living abroad for so long I have come to the conclusion that the majority of human kind are absolute pigs when it comes to respecting the environment. Hence my question about the use of biodegradable plastic. The 'brass' will just rust away because its actually steel, but the plastic lives on, and i am constantly picking up other peoples spent shells that just litter some of the places I like hunting in. The number of spent shells littering the country side is astounding and if there was some sort of tendency towards that sort of solution I think it would be a major step forward. Of course theres still other sorts of littering, but then fingers wouldnt be pointed at hunters for being pigs. In the old days shells were made of cardboard or paper so it didnt matter much.... I know some companies have paper shells and fibre wadding, but they make those so expensive that for the majority they arent an option. I keep wishing there was an alternative. Because even if you do recycle the shells the plastic wadding still litters the countryside. no one goes looking for the wadding... I think shows like Fieldsports channel and other shooting channels I frequent could help a great deal in shifting some manufacturers tendencies... Its awesome that Gamebore will go to the lengths it has to adjust some of its product like with the research it did with Mr Crow... I think it wouldnt be that much more difficult to make the shells and wadding eco friendly. Obviously I dont also live in GB, and I do pick up all my shells. Thats how I was brought up. But I always remember the wadding lying somewhere in the brush... Making stuff with plastic is super easy and dirt cheap, but sometimes its not the best option... theres so many other options... like fibres or cork etc... Anyway just a rant I thought I'd throw out there. (love the show by the way, dont miss a single one.. keep up the amazing job.)
I'm new to all this hunting stuff, so why does that guy say the animals are beautiful and then go shoot them?? I don't have a problem with hunting but I just wondered is there a reason for the hunting??
There are many reasons why Roy shot the buck. Venison for the freezer / Management reasons - He was being selective. There are bucks with better genes on that estate which will now have more chance of breeding with the females in that area. .Just as a livestock farmer manages a herd of sheep or cattle, the deer manager on the ground will make sure the best genes go forward. Plus there is pressure on the habitat and crops. The ground will only support a certain number of animals. Roy appreciated the female roe because he loves wildlife. Hunters love wildlife which is why we try and keep it fit and strong and create habitats for it to thrive.
Fieldsports Channel Thanks for the information guys, like I said I'm new to this sport so appreciate the comment, again I have nothing wrong with the hunting and now you have explained it, it makes sense. 👍🏻
