Nice to see a 500 in it's working clothes. When the edges of the receiver is polished from use, and the "blueing" is turned purple, you know it's had some honest use. Have taken a 500 ratting myself, but without the thermal sights. Into the garage, flick on the light, and wait. After about 10 seconds they make a run for it. 1oz 7.5 shell, half the shot removed and stuffed with newspaper, chop them in half at 10 yards safely.
Moles: Years ago an old farmer asked me to sort out the moles in his garden with my shotgun... I was skeptical. He explained, expose a fresh hole, fire a couple of shots straight down the hole with a 12 G shotgun from maybe 6 inches to a foot away. The shockwave travels through the tunnels & kills the moles. I went along to keep him happy but did not expect it to help. Shock: It worked! No more moles in his garden, I kid you not!
We have one unit (RCMP) responsible for gun licensing in Canada. They are several months behind in renewals. Often the renewal is not issued before the old one expires.
Excuse the repetition but we NEED to amalgamate all the Shooting , Hunting and Angling organisations otherwise its curtains for us all!Money and numbers speak loudly!😉👍
