In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I've never noticed the blurring on the wall above them during the Bridge Task. Was that there in the full episode? (Edit: You can see it throughout that task but an example is at 11:17)

Oh, when I see dear Wozniak on the thumbnail I thought of the bag of salt/sugar team task immediately
@Tao_Tology

I do wonder what would have happened if none of the contestants had found out about the sugar/salt deception. Would they have just abandoned that? Or maybe just had Alex say, in the studio, "we didn't penalise any of you but the bag actually had...".

I would've gone right for the bread. Can't comment on the chocolate as I am more of a savoury person but I'm shocked at the lack of interest in the bread.

I don't think giving out individual tasks counts as "fooling" the contestants. The contestants don't know if any particular task they are asked to do is legitimate or not, and so they have to treat every task as real, because if they didn't, it would be even worse.

It seems the conclusion of winning points in Taskmaster is ALWAYS check the front and back of the task letter, and always observe and explore the surroundings LOL.

I still don't get how technically you've finished the task. As in time stops (in later series mostly)... Or Alex asks, 'is it done then or have you finished then'? Then you get docked points later - as in, Lee Mack finally didn't get hit when plates dropped after the task. But glad the series learned in the end at least!

A potential interesting addition to the show: have Gregg show us the best way to complete these kinds of tasks in the most efficient way if there is one. And/or Alex could also do it.
