This week the United States celebrates Thanksgiving and the Holiday season begins for most. How can we cultivate alliances in surprising places, even across the dinner table with a member of your family or a friend who shares entirely different beliefs from you? Courageous self-reflection, fierce compassion, with a double helping of Civility. In this week's RGHP, Joe provides deep insights and thoughtful suggestions on how to gather this holiday season by overcoming our indifferences with more patience, compassion, and empathy.
In addition, Joe leads you through a powerful meditation practice that is designed to cultivate resilience. This allows you to move through the world with presence, balance, awareness, and flow. Through these strengthened capacities, you can practice Fierce Civility in your interactions with the world.
