That is one of the few Amarr ships I like as well. Just a thought.. in lower tier Abyss sites you're typically fighting cruisers and below. You might consider a Warhead Rigor Catalyst rather than the Bay Loading Accelerator in the rigs. I fit one to almost all of my PVE HAM equipped ships, since they have trouble hitting frigates under the best of circumstances. In my experience the application bonus is worth more than the DPS bonus.
Think of separating your armor reppers in the lows. Helps when you overheat, the reppers won't transfer heat to each other 😉 The Sacrilege is my favorite PVE combat ship.
@@captainbenzie My understanding is that if you were to separate reppers that are both being overheated with either passive modules or active ones that are not being overheated, there is still a chance for both to inflict heat damage to each other, however the chance for that is lower the further apart they are from each other, making the other modules more likely to soak up the heat damage from one or the other overheated repper, with the heated modules the most likely to get damage, then the neighboring modules next, etc. Then there's the rack heat mechanic, the rack itself will gain heat even if you overheat a single module, and the amount of rack heat will affect how likely an overheated module is going to deal heat damage either to itself, and to it's neighboring modules at the end of an overheated cycle, with a cool rack you may have a couole of cycles where no module sustains heat damage, whereas with a hot rack you are likely to have damage sustained with the first overheat cycle. This is why some fits with a utility high slot feature a rarely actively used module like a smart bomb or two between the guns to separate them out to soak up the heat damage. This is my understanding of what EVE University wiki said about overheating upon a quick look and fact check, double check and correction if necessary appreciated.
Heat damage chances are also affected by proximity in the rack. A module is most likely to deal heat damage to itself; then to modules adjacent to it, then to other modules in the rack with the chance of heat damage decreasing with greater distance in the rack.

assault DCU is a bit overrated. i only like it for bad neut rooms. if you need it for tank you need to improve your fit. Reactive hardener would be better.
I've been a huge fan of Khanid Kindom ships since I first found out about the vengeance. Love their fusion of Caldari missiles and armor and those sweet silver ships. In darks I really like Vespas, they have a lot more shield which means they often can be recalled after only taking shield damage even if you get some drone aggression.
Great video and great ship. Fell in love with it all the way back in 2010. I've been running T4 darks with it lately. Also dual-webs but with a single armor repper, 800mm plate, reactive armor hardener and 2xBCS. It might seem counter intuitive but it actually works well. I got the fit from the abyssal lurker channel and the guy that uses it also runs T5 darks with it, albeit with a couple of deadeye and snapshot implants. I only use standard crash for T4s and no implants. As far as I can tell, the trick is that the bigger buffer gives the reactive hardener more time to adjust. Plus neuts are less of a problem with only one rep and bigger buffer. It works for me anyway 🙂. Thanks for the video, Cap!
Not my favorite hull aesthetically, but the Khanid ships with their missiles and colour scheme are very nice, the Damnation is just damn sexy in my opinion.
looks like a perfect pirate ship. i actually have been wondering about the few amar missile ships. i also really like this hull looks imposing almost like a king cobra like look
Don't be too harsh on yourself Captain. You come from Echoes, and there is no real drone management in that game. I still pull my drones when I play Echoes, even though I know I don't have to, because I came from EO first.
Could you occasionally make a video about current nullsec wars? This is a fascinating aspect of Eve and even though other channels cover this topic, I have not found one that was easy to understand for beginners.
Think I'm building up my mainly Amarr ship skills with Rockets to do "Angel Sound" epic arc as the Angel cartel are weak to explosive, I'm a full disco light man at the moment. Mind you Amarr Navy blue crystals are ace...
I know you dislike amarr ships due to the lore. Wait until you read about khanid lore….you thought amarrians were bad. I also lost one of these in venal yesterday :(
this week I lost my thrasher to an abyssal ENDENCOM ship and basically have to start from zero... it's been some days since the last time i've logged in because I don't want to start from zero... as they say, don't fly what you can't afford to lose and I just did so yeee I will keep watching your videos for now, maybe next week I will give another try
Go do some venture gas huffing in lowsec bro, you'll be able to buy ten thrashers and have isk left over after just one gas site. o7, keep at it man. Hope to see you in space.
I prefer passive enjoyment bonuses for my ships of choice. Active enjoyment is too high effort. What's a good abyssal for a top notch gallente enjoyer? I've got the Ishtar skills!
