Gotta love that deep inverted V8 rumble. This airplane just screams 'utility'. I absolutely love it.

Good to see and hear that it has an original engine! 😊 Fi-156 was an awesome STOL plane! Many of them served in our Royal Hungarian Airforce during WW2 as liaison airplane...

es ist nun mal ein tolles fluggerät.

Imagining Skorzeny, Mussolini, and that pilot dropping off Gran Sasso into the void. Doing it by Storch.. "Out of the frying pan, into the fire."

In such immaculate condition!😮 The only 'soiled' spots are the two diagonal landing gear struts with the exhaust staining. 😅 Obviously impossible to avoid.

Rare sound. I know the engine quite well. It is a lot of work to keep it running. The aircooled main bearings should have attention.
