When you paint the outside, dont mask up the door holes and let the red drift inside. Its all they get from factory. I have a white one thats just been finished, if they are ever finished, good to see another being kept alive.
Well that looked a good shell as ford rot like mad I've done plenty over the years so it wasn't alot of welded them fiestas turbo's are quick but used to skip about when drove hard I wouldn't worry about painting it at you can't see I would paint the floor with black paint even brushed to stop it rusting again like you said no body going to see it but it's your choice mate 👍
She is in amazing condition,much better than the one I’m restoring . Did you not fit new inner arches as you have got part of your outer wheel arch missing under the filler hole which is part of the inner wheel arch repair panel and also on the inside of the wheel arch along the flange it’s not joined to outer wheel arch , (double flanged)where the holes are for the kit. Not sure how you can sort it now , but you need to do something or there will be water ingress and probably body flex. Sorry
Yea you can see at 18:22 the inner arch hasn’t been attached to the outer, if you google the inner arch panel you should see it has a lip and goes down as far as the cut out as there’s a bulge from the inner panel that fills it.
