It’s unbelievable how worse gameplay got. When you compare 2023 and 2011. The body mechanics in 2011 when taking shots, finessing and other movements were so fluid. They actually looked like real body mechanics. Fast forward to 2023, the shots and body movements make no sense to me. Fifa 11 was my favorite game of all time. I got so good at that game, my online record at one point was 48 wins in a row.

Also the menus are reasonable. Recent FIFA/FC menus are plain stupid. I also miss the player form system in FIFA 10's manager mode, and the FIFA 11 transfer market in manager mode. Also the default camera during matches.

I also like how it starts in arena mode that you can return to at any time by pressing B and re-enter the menu at any time from the arena

I also think it was better when no player was rated above 90. I prefer the old player rating system, along with the badges e.g. "free kick specialist"

11, 12 ,13 were all awesome.... Unfortunately Fifa turned the gameplay into circus act since then. So sad.

It's freaking weird that the turf textures are allmost the same as in EA FC25. It looks like FIFA did a downgrade from PS4 to PS5 (count only versions produced directly for PS4 not cheap ports that are made for PS4 since PS5 appeared) Compare this - FIFA 11 EA FC 25 And for example FIFA 17 in 4K on PS4 Pro The fact that faces on PS5 next gen are more accurate means nothing for me becouse I play not browse faces in game and I want to play match. And what I have to tell FIFA 11 has better, more movie-style feeling in case of cinematics and player's celebrations for example, when in EA FC 25 that part of graphics looks totally basic even simpler than in FIFA 11. And now imagine what it would be if they would make proper 4K textures for FIFA 11....

I bought the new fifa yesterday (ea fc24) and it’s just not fun to play. Not like this fifa was. The music is shit compared to this fifa too. Am I just getting old? Or has fifa progressively gotten worse over the years? First world problems I guess lol.

I used to play fifa 11 online for 2 years every single day ( #FC_barca84 ) and never had enough until they bought out fifa 12 and lost all online players. I was so good at it me and mate #smokeking that we use to beat everyone and made so many friends and enemies 😂 bcos we use to like playing 2vs2 or more than 2 as long as it’s both of us. Since 2012 never played or owned a ps again
