James is brilliant! "I would have wrote him down would have a whole different meaning" hahaha. Great vid as always, and keep up the dog pics on insta AND in the videos please!
James said about people's dogs weeing behind the sofa. My dog did this when she was a pup twice, so we had to put her crate and play pen either side so she couldn't get behind there anymore, then she soon learnt😂😂
Actually no, but close. He is from Aquitaine - the far southwestern region of France, which borders with the traditional Basque region of Spain. The greater "Basque country", from a traditional and ethnic standpoint, includes a small part of southwestern France in Aquitaine - so Athletic Bilbao's Basque-only policy does not necessarily exclude certain French players
@@football_editz7102 do you think mbappe will want to go to madrid, now hes got the chance to play with Messi? Maybe next season but I dont think anyone will want to leave this psg team
@@jamessharpe2625 it’s everywhere bro he’s leaving this season though it is dum because he has the chance to play with Messi but even check for yourself
Yeah but ngl when there is someone new it’s interesting as you don’t know their style. Like Itani will build stinker squads, and Bateson will play with moments R9 and TOTY Ronaldo
When they are talking about laporte nationality change being controversial all i was thinking was "Andy! Why dont u just go ask your best pal declan about controversial nationality switching "
I live In Canada but I have a bit of a French background and am fully invested in that culture live that way and focus on those aspects so I feel very French and I’ll be moving to France, so i do see how people change nationalities
Laporte is actually basque (not sure how far back it goes) but that’s why he could play for Bilbao. Notice how all they’re players are spanish. The basque region is quite literally between france and spain so i guess he just didn’t feel any attachment to one over the other and just chose game time.
Not all Bilbao players have to be Basque it just happens they all are, if you were born outside of Basque territory but played football your entire life for a Basque club you fit their criteria. But they almost never sign players like that because there is a wealth of talent native to Basque Country to sign instead.
Hey Andy, you always do this, but the CMs don’t actually play like wingers in game. It just looks like that on the custom tactics screen, but that isn’t the case. I used the formation in FIFA20 champs, so that’s at least how it worked last year. Basically, the CMs do play as CMs.
James not realizing the joke he couldve made about axel werner being timo werner's long lost brother and a few other germans going missing in argentina
Laporte is from the Basque Country where people often speak and identify as both french and Spanish. I assume he has lots of Spanish relatives and speaks Spanish fluently. Him choosing Spain is like someone born in Newcastle with a Scottish family selecting Scotland as a nationality rather than England. Fair play to him
I was born in Australia, my Dad and all his family are Italians and my Mother is from New Zealand. I played rugby league for Italian under 18’s school boys without living there. I played rugby league in Australia after school. Rugby League is competitive in Australia. I have a strong bond for all three countries and have spent time in all three countries and I’m a dual citizen Italian/Australian. It’s definitely an interesting topic of discussion.
This might just be me, but I think Andy's camera should aim a little lower or be a bit zoomed in. I think it would look better if the top of his head was closer to the top of the frame. Love the vids tho
It's crazy like my dad's cousin is Craig Charles and my dad's nan and grandad were Jamaican. Quality episode mate love the series can't wait for the new fifa to be more frequent again that card design for Messi is amazing 👌
28:00 You don't actually need to legally change your nationality to play for a different country, FIFA as different rules that governments. For example James could play for China because of his parents without having to legally become Chinese and give up on the British passport.
I agree aj about the nations if you just keep on changing nations just to play which I do understand why they do it and all but then it kind of defeats the points of the nation games like the world cup....
On psg's line up. They should put marquinos in cdm with wijnaldum and verrati and play a simular style like liverpool with the midfield as the engine of the team who just sends the ball to the top 3 and verrati to do what they want
Petition to have timestamps for the video for beginning talk, guesses, gameplay and discards. Sometimes I have to use mobile data and 6 minutes of the talking uses a lot.
Surprised people rate bernat that much. He does have experience but he's only mid teir. It shows when psg are link with theo hernandez, he's the perfect replacement, though i don't think milan will sell
This is just my opinion on how they should line up Gk: Donnarumma Lb:bernat( potentially theo hernandez) Rb: hakimi Lcb:Kimpenbe Rcb:Ramos Dm: Marquinhos Lcm:veratti Rcm: Wijnaldum Lw:Neymar St: Mbappe Rw: Messi(but he roams all over the pitch to be fair )
My parents were born in Mexico, immigrated to US and I was the only one of my siblings born here. I'm a US citizen by birth but I also went to the Mexican embassy to get Mexican citizenship a few years back
