They aren’t quite comparable because one was Lewis on max where he got punished and the other was Masi on lewis where no one who profited was punished. Masi is obviously the higher governing body and shouldn’t be interfering in that type of way ever but fair enough take on it tho and wasn’t Max’s fault and was a great season in all.

I think to avoid using max chem, I would just use a player that’s similar in club and country (Dani Alves would have Neto or Coutinho) as a place holder and then in the first minute just sub them out (just an idea, as always love the content!)
