Love that you are one of the originals who still play offline. I hate ultimate team it’s just so unrealistic. A simple good career is amazing. I would love to see a nba 2k approach of the player career mode. Just a small story and more options to choose to make your career awesome.
Really impressed with the AI this year. Been playing for over a week now and they have been so aggressive, taking shots outside the box and going in for tackles more.
@Ben Watkins exactly. People expect some revolutionary overhaul every year. Like of course it’s going to be almost the same as the last fifa. It’s still fifa. They’ve done a good job and are on the road to recovery. They can’t add big features in updates as they need to make the next fifa. So the new features come in the next fifa. For example create a club career. Think of that as beta for that specific mode.

Been playing FIFA since 98’ as a kid but last 3 years have been such a disappointment as an offline player in terms of the gameplay☹️ had to try pes 2020 and really enjoyed it especially editing kits and downloading classic strips. PES21 was also brill. This gameplay on FIFA22 is best for a fair few years tho’ just feels skatey still to me and really arcade like. Enjoy tho man FIFA has been my go to game throughout the years. Could Never slag it - just disappointed
Only thing that is a little annoying for create-a-club is that the kit numbers don’t change to match the league you’re in and that the GK kits are generic. It’s not gamebreaking though because you can’t really notice the difference of the numbers that much while you play and nobody really pays attention to the GK anyways - I just put pants on the GK instead because the shorts and socks look funny. At least they put the league badges and league captains armbands. Sponsors not being on the created kits doesn’t really bother me at all (most of these kits would look better without the sponsorship anyways lol). Legendary difficulty has definitely been updated and I am still getting used to it but I started off in EFL 2 with a 1/2 star team so that could also be a factor… overall I’m enjoying the gameplay even though I have 0 wins 1 tie and 5 losses lmao never had this much fun losing honestly hahaha

I can’t really tell the number style difference in game but at least it will be half realistic once you get into European competition since most big clubs have different styles for those games. But the German league would be perfect for created clubs because they don’t have a set number style for their leagues

That long range goal stuff vapex was talking about is so true I missed back then when you can take a shot outside the box and youd actually have a chance at scoring. Last fifa the only people that could score like that was like salah 😂
I think i'll get it at Christmas for Xbox when its had a few updates and its been discounted as well. Still looking forward to playing Fifa 22 when I do though. 👍
Its a really good fifa, u have to buy it if you are a fan, the gameplay is much faster but realistic at the same time than fifa 20 (my last fifa). I have to play a bit more to tell but i think ea kinda succeded this year!
You know it’s really hard to take you seriously about not being a “EA Gamechanger” if you’re starting your FIFA 22 review by advertising a website that sells currency for the absolute WORST part of EA Sports titles in general.🤦🏾♂️
The AI were extremely difficult to break down for the first 10 or so games but it's getting easier now but it can be tough going. Is anyone having an issue with the lack of haptic effects with the PS5 controller (the controller vibrated every time a pass was made but not anymore) and inconsistences with the cut scenes whether "hold to skip" is turned off or off? I only see the players celebrating a goal the odd time. I liked skipping to the lineup introduction but now it's all or none. I rarely see the rolling lineups across the bottom of the screen either. I also hate that EA removed some of the right stick flick moves such as flicking the ball behind after receiving a pass from, say, a short corner or from the keeper.
I just bought FIFA and it'll be arriving tomorrow. Last year I only played Ultimate Team and as a person who doesn't believe in micro transactions, it was fun but such a grind. When you play someone who has put a lot of money in you definitely notice a bias. I'll be mainly playing manager mode this time, looking forward to it!
I simply love this years Fifa, i hope they will add features to offline mode like player career and career club creation such as building the stadium as you go from league 3 and up, getting money from sponsors and should include tv rights and so, this game has huge potential now, and gameplay is fantastic and only needs some few tweaks here and there!
Only thing that's good is the game is more realistic and slower so it looks like real football. But other than that there is no good things about this game. Scripting is worse than ever before. Sometimes AI starts to build up the attack and you just know you're going to concede. I played Fifa 21 on World Class level for about 350 hours only kick off mode. So obvioulsy I played on World Class on FIfa 22 too. I played 16 kick off games and every single one went to the penalities. I score in minute 30', ai equalises in 45'. I score in 60' the game scores in 85'. EVERY SINGLE TIME SAME THING. I played with Barcelona against Sociedad and got trashed 4:0. WHAT??? I know Barcelona is bad right now, and I'm not the greatest Fifa player, but I'm not that bad ffs. Its just ridiculous, its sad god damn it. Not to mention milion of glitches and bugs that are happening every game. But I guess they will fix that with upcoming updates. Anyways, do not buy this game its a waste of money. SHAME ON YOU EA.
I wouldn't mind it. But I've wasted money on the last 4 versions. Moving to PES when 21 was so bad. But I might buy it 2nd hand on PS5 once someone gets fed up with it.

This game sucks, the off the players don't do anything. The midfielders don't help on D. If you don't control the player the just stand there. This sucks.
This looks great. I'll buy a PS5 near the end of this year if available and if Fifa23 is no good then I will get Fifa22. Currently playing Fifa18 on the PS4 Pro.
When I see the incredible possibilities as a manager in “Madden” and take a look at the options in FIFA, I’m getting angry 😤 Both games coming from ea - one game with passion for details and a bunch of options for the players and one sloppy game made just for FUT players. Not just the Manager mode, the player career mode in madden is way better the this Fifa joke.
In all honesty I took a year off madden to come back to fifa after not buying fifa 21 maddens franchise mode is just now be somewhat renovated after years of complaints but still nothing special the game still feels the same still very animation driven which ruins the gameplay hopefully fifa can be somewhat better than madden out of all my sports games Mlb the show(baseball⚾️) is at the top of my list and then nba2k

Im wondering where EA lose more PC players. To not include HyperMotion and PC players dont have next gen features and its the reason not to buy fifa on PC. Or it will been NextGen on PC and extend minimum requirements.
EA needs to add to fifa what they did with madden and offer simulation or arcade depending on what you choose. That way ultimate team 12 year olds can have the unrealistic experience they want where it’s all about speed, skills and 6-5 scores every match, and those of us who actually like football and want to play a game that simulates real life we will be able to have a decent game. If they don’t do that we will always have to deal with an Arcady game cater to 10 year olds that don’t understand real football
The new commentary is really bad. Stewart Robson's parts sound like over dubs. They lines generally felt much more natural and flowing in Fifa 21. You can really tell that Robson is just reading stuff off a card. Alex Scott's commentary is ok but she does sound a bit overly happy when reading her lines but that is how she sounds in real life to some extent.

I'll pick up the game mid next week. Fifa21 I only played career mode and enjoyed it. Made a CM & did 15 yrs and was forced to retire at 35 yrs of age. Was really fun playing 2 or 3 seasons at a team then putting myself up for transfer, moving to another team, that kept things fresh. Looking forward to another CM Career in Fifa22, maybe start in the A League this time.
It's a big shame EA have decided to take out Free Contract signings for January 1st, you can't get player's like Mbappe nd Haaland on a free when they have 6 months left on their current deal, why did they take this feature out😕😕😕
@@wendanger7429 nope sadly you can't sign players who are 23 and over for free anymore, you have to wait until they're atleast 31+ to get them it's a huge mistake by EA

Playing My player career mode: The attacking AI still can’t take (good) shot decisions by themselves . I have seen from other youtubers that the player selection position bug (CB switched to RB or wingers in the midfield) is still persistent and the manager doesn’t switch tactics (going attacking when losing or defending while winning when the match is almost done).. The attacking AI doesn’t move up quickly to support you. The passing errors by AI of your team is still problematic 😓 this is going to be the same headache like last years I guess. I don’t care about Next Gen bs when the gameplay is still suffering from the same bugs
I play in ps 4 and i got that position bug too (LM play in CM, CM play in LM, LB play in CM) but after 9-12 match, they go back to their position. Hope EA fix this soon.

Am I the only human not enjoying the AI?? They’re way too strong. I’m used to playing legendary or ultimate but I can barley okay world class this year. I just lost 5-1 to a a worse team than mine and they had two red cards. But their players were wayyyy too good. It’s really annoying that the tactics barely make any fucking sense and it’s impossible to tell which way the AI is gonna attack. Why are the keepers so godlike but dogshit on your team?
U didn't really suggest anything ...u just said it was NBA 2k career mode is better ....the gameplay is better, graphics are significantly better,the career mode is better, they made other improvements but still u will see fans that will say FIFA hasn't changed since 2017
I usually only buy fifa games every 2 years. I currently have FIFA 20 , I can't get ahold of a PS5 but don't really want to invest any more money on any PS4 games...I guess wait until fifa 23
I actually think this game is a lot better than recent years, I’m playing on pc for the first time as I had xbox one x before, but even on pc it is much better than last year, can’t wait to get fifers mod when he releases it, little sorry about to miss the new cinematics but I have tried fifa 22 on ps5 also and it’s really not that much of a difference in gameplay even if pc dont have hypermotion, I play on slow and with fifers realistic mod it will be world class game!
I only play manager mode and I just can’t find the perfect difficulty. Like world class is too easy like they opponents NEVER score a goal against and in legendary I can NEVER score a goal. I just want a realistic difficulty where the team that has better players, tactics or just luckily plays better wins
The producers of this game have really outdone themselves. A 1.2 overall rating in and around the internet on various websites says it all. They took our money and ran with it. EA Sports should ashamed of themselves for putting out a shitty product such as FIFA 22. What a waist.
Is there a way to not update the game on Xbox series X ? I like the gameplay now , and I know the FUT pros and RU-vid personalities are already complaining that the game is too slow. Wish they separated the two ho honestly

Go for Series S… much cheaper option, still next gen and still solid output. Most reasonably priced monitors can’t offer 4K @ 120+ FPS anyways so why not get the console that can handle 2k @120 FPS just like most top end monitors? That’s the way I looked at it

@@harrytwood ahhhh yes that is true and the external hard drive is annoyingly expensive. I primarily play fifa, destiny, outriders and a few platformers so I don’t use too much space really. It was hard to switch to all digital not gonna lie

Defending is still terrible even on ultimate team. They made it like we only have a limited time when a com-player in my team comes to support Then they get left behind and still wondering like what should i do. And then the defense line gets out of balance.. That’s how ppl get through defense line. And score with very large open space. But everything else is great. A little slow for me. ( i also play on ps5 ) I didn’t even notice hypermotion. Lol
I was really excited for the Create-a-Club feature coming back to Fifa after all these years, and I was like, “it’s still going to be the same terrible game, but at least a I get some customization…”. But I guess I was wrong because it just seems like a very lazy attempt. I can live with only 2 kit options (would much prefer a 3rd), but several things are washed with it, like having a sponsor on the kit (just give us like an EA SPORTS one or a made up logo), then the goalkeeper kits being generic (which I know Fifa 08 had like 18 different keeper jersey options “home and away”), and the lack of development with stadiums and the team overall is just lazy. Take a look at NBA 2k as an example of how to do Create-a-Club right (or team), they’ve had an extremely well made system for that since 2k15, so really no excuses for EA. But they’re gonna keep selling this so they’re gonna keep giving minimal effort in their features🤷♂️

Looks great on next gen. Not impressed with xbox one x. Crashes. Lagg at times (offline) computer scores at near post and keepers just flop to the floor. Same with looped headers far to many go in and the keeper's just parry the ball in to the corner.
The next gen stuff not being added for PC is such a joke. They should just make the option for people to choose whichever they would like to play. If your PC can't take next gen game specs just get the last gen FIFA 22 version and if you have a high end PC to be able to download next gen FIFA 22. PLS.
Idk why they can't just have something like an optional 'next gen patch' for Pc users. Kinda sucks for those who can't get a ps5 but could most likely run the game on pc
I've been playing the create my player and they do take long shot. Your team AI's defending can be poor at times. the CDM still stand around letting balls past them. There are times that the defending is great. The one thing that I've noticed the most that annoys me is the lack of fouls or penalty. I've played half a season and have not received a free kick or penalty for obvious AI fouls against me.
Career mode is great, literally all the modes are great except ultimate team. Sick of the stuck in mud bullshit turning in ultimate team. Can play 5 games perfectly and all of a sudden your players have the strength of a 5 year old girl and run like they have a piano on their back getting outpaced by the centre back 9/10. But yeah career mode is decent.
