Forget Neal's tactics, dude's a hack. Try my 4231, Elite Div player here (not a brag, lots of people are, just to let you know what to expect). With these tactics you need to be patient, pass until your players position themselves (or you trigger them) and them go for the opening. Basically work use the triangles formed by the players, from the wing to the center, circulate the ball, don't rush, always be on the lookout for the openings. On Defense, focus on cutting passing lanes, don't rush out, lots of jockey and only manual defend with your defenders when needed, use the CDMs first. Balanced, 35, 54, Balanced, Direct Passing, 60, 5 in the box, 3 corners (preference), FKss 2 (preference) GK - Sweeper, Comes for Crosses RB - Stay Back LB - Stay Back, Overlap LCDM - Cut Passing Lanes, Stay Back, Cover Wing RCDM - Cut Passing Lanes, Cover Center LAM, AM and RAM - Come Back on Defense, Get into the box ST - Stay Central, Come Back on Defense Hope it helps!

My only problem I have with this formation is my number 10 and number 9 always switch positions and its really annoying
