Fifa 23 Controller Bug - Not Working Online - Division Rivals - PC

By the way, I'm a PC user who uses a PS 4 controller (I bought FIFA 23 at Epic Games), I experience this bug every time I play online like Rival, Fut and Proclub. But when I play offline, my controller works as usual even though my network is smooth, maybe someone has the same bug with the same condition as me. This video maybe help you👏

Hi. This error started to happen to me after the last patch. One method that worked for me momentarily was to add the game to steam and start it through "Big Picture" mode. I was also recommended to connect the controller once the game has already started. I hope they fix it again, because before this patch, at least for me, everything worked perfectly.

My controller working fine offline like in menus but in online like div rivals it ain't working any other fix as the above didn't work .

Everyone is having the problem on pc but it’s only me who’s on the Xbox series s having the problem! It only happens online

Nothing work for me, my controller and keyboard doesn't work in pro club and fut. I only can move for a second and after that i can't move for the whole 90 min, the only thing that working is the menu.

Just played today the problem is still there, it's like somebody is playing instead of me...

so my controller works fine on division rivals, but in some modes like fut champions, its not that my controller is working but i have to use my keyboard for some reason. in fut champions it wont let me use my controller. In division rivals, there is a red dot on top of my players when in game to show im on controller but in fut champions the dot turns blue which means im 'playing' with keyboard and mouse. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? It is really annoying because I want to play fut champions on my controller not keyboard

I found the sulution you need to open your computer settings and go to gaming then game mode and disable game mode

I found something fishy, btw i m dealing with the same issue. When i went to customize controlls, i could find only keyboard and mouse or only keyboard. I couldn’t find a controller. I m using xbox controller to play with my PC

Bro I´m useing an xbox controller wirelessly and it is just doing what it wants when I´m in Fifa. The controller is working totally fine in every other game I dont know what to do Edit: I‘m useing my controller with a cable and now it is workling. Still no solution for wireless

Brother, I am using a cosmicbyte controller. I am from india. I have been continuously trying to play seasons in fifa 23. But i cannot play because my controller wont work in online mode. It works great in career mode. But not in online mode. Please help!!!

If your players are running on their own in rivals or any online mode that means : *Ur graphics card might not be upto date. *Ur graphics card might not be good enough. *Or ur pc is not cooled properly. (In my case it was because my pc was overheating, I fixed that and the game works fine now) This problem is because of ur pc and not because of EA.

Apart from this and the stadium is there is any fix yet? I have to say that by applying this it improve sometimes, however just had one stadium on division rivals xd but thanks for the help anyways at least you are trying to help 👍

I just had it there 1-1 with the goal keeper I order the player to shoot he chip passes to the keeper I order a slide tackle the player doesn't respond it's irritating.

Guys I have solution, before the game plug off keyboard, just left mouse and start the game, it worked for me.

I think i found a solution, off cross play. Turn ur graphics low as possible. It will work for sure. I bet

its hilarious a multi billion corporation cant figure out how to make a controller work in their games...

I solved this problem. You should open game options in steam and controller and then you should choose steam options. That's all. I tried so many programs and settings but they didn't work. Now it is ok.

Those of you who want help with this error, just remove your keyboard device, then unplug the keyboard, then plug it in and they will work.

for me it only happens in friendlies the rest works fine this is a joke. it seems to be related to using 2 screens.

I figured it out, the reason it doesn't work because yous got the controller settings set to two button instead of classic your welcome boys
