This is the solution to make FIFA 23 run smoothly on every computer
that matches the medium requirements for AMD Radeon users.
Steps:
1. click on "My Computer"
2. Click on "My documents"
3. Click on the "FIFA 23" folder and remove "fifasetup.ini"
2. start the game from the AMD menu with my settings and ( configure your resolution settings )
3. Play Fifa 23 without lags.
note: This has to be done everytime before you start FIFA.
This wil not work if your system does not match the FIFA 23 minimum requirements:

that is the fix, the only downside is, having to adjust the resolution settings everytime. EA please patch this.

I currently have a problem with the controller that isn't reacting for 2 to 5 seconds in game , no problems with cutscenes or whatsoever. Is there a solution for this? I upgraded to a gtx 980, first day the game was running smoothly.

Someone has the problem that the cutscenes have a crackling sound, but in the game it works fine, I have an RTX4070 Ti and I have not been able to solve the crackling sound in the cutscenes

Tried this and got a black screen every time before loading into a game. Only fix was copying back the original setup back in the Fifa 23 folder.

that is nearly impossible the game creates a new ini file everytime it starts up. I suggest you remove the *.ini file and wait longer it could take about 4 minutes with slow computers.

@@ezitobezito5251 Everytime I delete my ini file, the graphics setting changes to auto. And when I change it to ultra I have to restart it & delete the ini file again. So this repeats the never ending process. But switching the hardware accelerated GPU solves 90 % of my stuttering & I can even play everything on ultra. I thought this video will help me with that 10%.

my main fps problem is fixed but now in match, corner kicks, goal kicks, penaltys, freekicks all of is 5 fps... its very bad. When I press esc, its sometimes 3 fps, sometimes 5 fps.
