The problem is that, Fifa 23 on switch they’re using Fifa 19 engine without changing anything unless the kit and the player transfer’s.

Switch version looks good considering the hardware. Ps5 looks insane. The gap is obvious. But the switch version doesn't look ugly.

The thing is, the switch can handle way better engines. If you look at other nintendo switch games, you can see how realistic the others are. I really hate how they used the FIFA 19 engine. I hope they can change this.

For a portable console id say it is pretty good. The only fair comparison would be if PS5 would have a portable console to compare them otherwise the ps5 wins in every single category clearly. And then you have the PC which in turn bests all the consoles on the market right now.

It's EA's "Legacy Edition" on Switch. Essentially a multiple year old fifa rom with players names and the calender changed. Cause that's all ea could be fucked to give effort for on a system with over 111 million player install base.

Steam deck is also portable and it can run the next gen PS5 version

Ps5 might look miles better and have all the presentation stuff, but the push for overly realistic, slower gameplay made the game less fun for me. I think the 360/ps3 era gameplay, and therefore the switch, is much better. IMO, the series hit its peak around 15/16 on One/ps4, which was basically a prettier version of the 360.

Fifa on switch is not using any of 2019, 2018 or 2017 engines, fifa 2023 is a mobile port from 2010 mobile fifa game. Basicly, graphicaly fifa version is worse than pc version of 2003 or PS 2. The sad truth is that EA has never made football game dedicated to switch , they just yake old mobile game and put Ronaldo or Mbape on a box and thats it. How do i know this? Look at grass- it is dead, the same synthetic, plain two-color patern, the same in every stadium. Even older Pc versions had muddy, weared off sandy, muddy spots. And there us no lighting engine at all.

The switch version looks even worse than PS4 edition. But slightly better than PS3 modded.

Doesn't have to do with the Switch as much as it is about EA not wishing to invest in a better engine for the Switch. Many people buy the game year after year, although I never supported the fact that EA game are a good go on Switch cause it feels more like a money grab. Oh well!
