EA tries to sell FIFA as a realistic football game, make it seem like like it's heading in the right direction for the first month then patch the gameplay and turn it into a scripted arcady meas

I don't understand, every year it looks like the players are skating on ice, or floating into position, I check back every year waiting for it to be fixed so I can try it, but it never is.

Interceptions are the main way teams are dispossessed in real life while in fifa it rarely happens. Fifa would have u think tackling is the only way to win the ball back. The first fifa on ps4 had interceptions right

It's the same as Fifa 22 which was the same as Fifa 21 which was also exactly the same as Fifa 20 which just so happened to be identical to Fifa 19... Very excited!!

I'm just happy that the PC version is finally getting the same tech as next gen. Now they need to do that for the PC version of MADDEN.

I have a word for this trailer. Underwhelming. I can spot a few improvements, like net physics, the grass and, of course, the grazing and finger animations look cool. But a lot of these features, apart from the great set pieces' revamp, which I am excited for, are not reliable. Last year we had Hypermotion 1 and that rarely made a difference in gameplay. Added a bit of animations and nothing more. Okay, cool, but it's not a feature, it's expected of you to add some animations after a year. Another thing: Women's football. While I always love to see more content added each year, only 4% of the FIFA community last year FINISHED a women's game, so why are your team promoting it like everyone desired for it? Plus, promoting it with runs, sliding tackles, counter-attacks and running animations is just... wrong. Have you even seen a women's football match? It's almost always possession styled match, so why not use the dribbling mechanics to show off women's football, why do you want people to believe that Sam Kerr runs past defenders like Mbappé and Vinícius do? I've never seen the skill moves you've put in this year's game being used. Seriously? Heel to ball roll? Left footed skills? Give me a break, I'm left-footed and we do use your right foot to dribble too. Yes, even elasticos. The dribbling is exactly the same, I've swear I've seen that Messi animation of turning back in skillfull FIFA 09's players. And, at last, the shooting, for me at least, looks the same. No matter how many spetacular shots you do to show "power shots", it looks the same, and probably feels like it too. Shauna's comments sounded as excited as most of the community is for this game. "Oh wow, so cool" "Wow, I like this".....

They said they have only gave elite defenders new animations to deal with attacks. So basically your in game ability will become even more irrelevant because If you don't have the best players you won't be able to play to you're actual ability.

Stop adding freaking animations to the game while basic stuff is still a problem. It's like adding spoiler to the car that has no engine. Start by FIXING KICK OFF GOAL EA, and continue from there.

All these run animations and none of them look smooth. They look like half of one animation then switches to a dribble animation. Not smooth at all.

Skill moves should have a PERCENTAGE OF ERROR. It's totally unrealistic if you make the right move, the drible always will happen. If you put neymar to do a elastic skill move, without anybody around him, he will still misses some dribling. But, on fifa, NO!

Hadn't played fifa since 2018 and decided to test the konami route. Tried fifa 22 after a sale on steam and uninstalled before the transfer window of my new career after AI constantly made bullet speed precise passes and sprinted like cheetahs every game. Realism and fifa are solar opposites

As someone who never cared about football i watched the women European championship because my country was competing It got me wondering how the top level FIFA players were playing. As i had only watched my brother play those games when we were kids Three individual movements of the players are really advertised but you barely see them because it's a team sport and you're watching the entire team move. Every player seemed to be in a invisible bubble like the review footage of real football. Except ask the players are always in that bubble. When 2 players get close there is nothing special happening on the bubble intersection like in real life Made the gameplay look really distant and robotic Maybe they can incorporate fighting game style inputs to influence the micro interactions between defending and attacking Watching both teams have the same players including old famous names was a little weird but i guess that's how they make money after you've bought the new game
