Fifa 16 chem gate was the most fun I've ever had on fifa. It wasn't just informs, but any card released after day 1. So inform, toty, tots etc. I remember using a full team of fullbacks in June. It was insane

What a start its been to sbsd for fifa 23

Why did Andy tell James which CAMs he wrote down when he still could have picked them for the last one 😂

So, Andy I'm an amateur sprinter and just wanted to say something about your assumptions of lengthy players (the comment about adama Traore) Sprinters who are short, typically are better at the start and have worse top speeds/hold their speeds worse (vice versa for taller sprinters) but this is not always the case, e.g. Justin Gatlin 6ft 2 well known for his start and Tyson Gay 5ft 10 well known for catching sprinters when he got up to speed. Being fifa lengthy, is dependent on more factors than height such as power, explosiveness, running technique and probably many more that I probably don't knwo of. So, I presume its based-on players actual ability in real life and I'd expect to see a positive correlation between lengthy and height but there will many players not super tall that will be lengthy.

I think you remembered “chem gate” wrong, or im thinking of another issue. What happened was any non original card (inform, tots, winter refresh, etc) played at like bronze level stats. The toty/tots gave enough boosts that the cards were better, but not by much. This was found eventually by ea adding some skill move that could only be done with a certain dribbling stat in game, so you could then test out cards stats with it. It’s also probably the reason why silver cards were so good in early fifas as playing against god squads, weren’t actually god squads. This happened for multiple fifas. I can’t believe this isn’t talked about more ea basically lied to us for years about cards getting upgraded, which is the entire point of ultimate team

So hero/icon + special position changed player is allowed now? Obviously I missed when that rule was changed lol

I remember pack icon Bergkamp in fifa 21, the server were down n I managed to get on game when no one could and pack Bergkamp from 100k pack from objective I did. I think pack weight is better when not many people are on game

There shouldn’t be any restrictions on secondary positions. Makes no sense at all. Would be like restricting players who had differently positioned special cards in previous years. “Oh you used Chiesa’s ST TOTY nominee who’s originally a RW? Well that means you can’t use shapeshifter Walker at CB because his first card was a RB!” It’s just stupid… Secondary position aren’t “chem breaking” in any way shape or form… They are completely normal cards that even come up when you search for specific positions on Futbin. (Example: If you search for LM/LW/LF from Serie A, cards like Pogba(who’s a CM) also shows up because he has that secondary position)

I don’t think its fair that you kept the capdevila man and let me tell you why. I know that those are the rules and it applies for every card and every guess but if james would have chosen to give you a la liga lb instead of the goalie you would be forced to fill the chem with more la liga players. Maybe a cool alternative would be: If someone guesses your player and that person gives you a trump card you should then treat that trump card as the right position that he guessed. Example: if you get your hero lb guessed and the other person gives you gk from argentina la liga you should treat the goalie as an argentinian lb so. Amazing vids man

100% ea bought up all those heroes, the speed in which they got bought up when it hit was crazy

Chemgate was the 2nd part of the theory. People realised that anyone on day 1 of the game never needed stamina, so if you had any gold card you never needed stamina, but someone in totw 2 would need fitness cards. People thought that there must be something with day 2 and onwards cards and people then realised that they only got 3/5 chem and you could build any tots team and it would play the same without chem

When you play max chemistry, the goalkeepers get outfield stats. Just look when you could see James’s squad and CAM. So shouldn’t really play max chemistry

if a player being played out of position doesn't provide any chemistry, ie a gk in midfield, why does the league or nation matter?

Probability doesnt work like Andy is saying in the beginning. The more or something there is, the mote predictable it becomes. Thats how casinos and betting companies make money, and its how EA control the markets too

They do pack rotations. We see it every time a creator does a screen share pack opening video. We see the same cards over and over again. Like what are the odds of getting 3 of the same player out of 4 packs? It shouldn't be possible if its random.

The stadium glare is such a ridiculous thing to be complaining about. It’s not that bad and you can definitely still see the players.
