I think another thing they can bring to the game is in kick off have past teams as a option we can play with. For example 2020 Bayern or 2009 Barcelona or 2016 Real Madrid very similar to what 2k does with the old school teams you can play with

I don't have more than one team at a time so was a pain constantly going through rebuilds and selling my whole team. Now I can just accumulate better players and fit them in. Default starting team is always Brazilian though. Overall the changes are great, just wished icons boosted the team regardless of nation if they're in position.

With the way chem works in 23 now it opens up a lot of what players you can pick, which hopefully opens up not being limited to more expensive players being the de facto 'best' and raising the prices on them - I'm hoping this also means a lot more people diversifying from purely EPL teams. I noticed they said 'same generation' and never mentioned PC. I was actually stoked to potentially not use FIFA on console for once but I'm guessing it's just Series S/X with PS5 ppl?

Guys, if you hadn’t noticed, when a player only has one chemistry they still play as good as their base stats.
