Dude, the side by side mic test was nuts! The steel series definitely had an airy, metallic sound and the fifine sounded more full bodied!

Wait if the 7.1 is weak but off 7.1 is great does that mean using no 7.1 is an advantage on fps games?

So in this case the button just doesn't seem to actually give you 7.1 channels of audio but with it off it has great directional audio reproduction. I would say if you are looking at this yes great directional audio will give you an advantage in some games.

Curious does this headset have mic monitoring when you plug into a ps5 console? ive been looking for a headset with mic monitoring features for the ps5... Any recommendations for under 50$ with a good mic with mic monitoring? Thanks and great review!

So I don’t have a ps5 to confirm but I can’t find anywhere where this is mentioned by fifine so I wouldn’t count on it. Thank you for the kind words on the review appreciate it!

@@Gamekod3 by controller you mean the thing where you can control volume for mic and audio correct? if so then thats what its plugged into, also i fixed the probel but now the headset only plays in one ear
