Gotta love Fifine. Inexpensive gear with the features and quality 99% of creators actually need. The RGB stuff and soundpads don't matter to me but these are aimed at gamers so fair enough.

Somebody's been to the barber! I no longer have to worry about that.... Not a bad sounding box for $50. I don't hear anything negative about it, other than what sounds like a touch of occasional clipping or harshness, which might have been the gain set a tad too high. At 4:39, you reduced the mic gain, and the clipping/harshness was reduced. It could have happened in post, I don't know.

You can hold the RGB button to turn it off btw if RGB isn't your thing. I bought and tested one through an through. Great little interface my fiance uses. I have my focusrite and EVO4 lol.

Is this audio interface compared to the Xtuga Q12 in terms of preamp quality or for streaming and connecting the audio from an audio mixer to the interface worth it or better than the Xtuga?

Hard to argue with the q12 being the choice if you just want to record a mic or two...its the extra ins and outs on this that make it an intriguing choice...well, and the build quality is fantastic for being plastic. So it really depends on the use case. If you want to add audio in and record out to another device, this one makes it so easy to do AND adjust all the levels.

Yes they do! I recently received the Maonocaster E2 audio mixer and it is twice the price and headphone monitoring is tough. FiFine is killing it with this mixer and their budget mics like the K669D. Just an absolute gem of a mic!

The only differences between this FIFINE and the Daakro is that this one has auto tune electric sounds, 2 extra voice changers, whereas the cheap version has denoise, ducking, loop back, and reverb echo, yet they both have silly voice changers but you made fun of the “crappy” one but didn’t say a word about the FIFINE voices. 😂

Hi. Could you help me figure out how this mixer works? I'm having a hard time understanding what goes where. So there's a MIC input (combined with a headset input), a LINE-IN and I guess theres the USB input with the gaming sounds from the PC. My question is: how are all these signals mixed and how are they then routed? Does the LINE-OUT signal contain the MIC sounds? If so, how do I connect my speakers to the LINE-OUT if I'll be hearing my MIC on the speakers? I understand that the HEADPHONE-OUT has a dedicated monitoring button that can include and exclude the MIC sounds from the mix. Does this button affect the LINE-OUT as well? The USB is used to power the device and send gaming sounds to the mixer. But does it also send sounds to the PC? If so, what exactly does it send? Does it include the MIC sound and the mixed LINE-IN and gaming? Or maybe it sends only the MIC? Is there maybe a diagram or an instruction manual for the device that explains what goes where? My use case: Use an AM8 microphone Separate my PC audio to discord and game sounds Send my output to headphones (all sounds without MIC), PC (only MIC for discord) and Spekers (all sounds without MIC) at different volumes...

im new to XLR mics, getting one for xmas, (shure mv7) im looking for an interface and on a budget. im a twitch streamer and would love to control my mic, the game/pc sounds and music sounds via the faders. also connect it from a pc to a Mac, (duel set up via capture card) is this possible. the order of which things connect is what's confusing me. thanks for any info. great video!

Thank you! My take....if you are going XLR...don't get an mv7...overpriced ..doesn't sound great. If you STAY USB...get the rode xdm 100, as the software makes it easy to control all of those sounds. XLR, I'd grab an elgato wave XLR and a Fifine 669D...the mics great for $39...and the elgato wave XLR interface works with software that again...will make routing those sounds easy

Nice review, bought this device but my mic seems to be waaaay too low volume when using it. The funny thing is that if I use the 4 sample buttons, the volume is extra loud. Did you experience the same problem?

I had to turn my volume settings (headphones, RU-vid & the PC itself) to max to hear the static sufficiently, from 50% on the PC and roughly 60-80% on my headphones, where at that volume, I can still hear your voice slightly better than I could hear the mic amp noise at max volume... Idk if that takes away from anything. All I know is that I got jumpscared with hurting ears after hearing your voice at max settings... There's even less static after adding that pre-amp

i recently got my fifine setup and i been trying to look everywhere online about the custom buttons, i know you gotta hold it down for 2 seconds and keep it held down to record something for it, but it doesnt play it back at all i have the mixer connected to my pc using the usbc to usb and i have my xlr connected to my mixer am i missing anything

Sadly no. The only device I've seen that you can plug a USB mic into is the new Rodecasters. Now YOU COULD run the headphone out into this and technically get the sound in that way

I have to say I would not. Despite the lower price...I do feel the CAD is cleaner, and the dynamic range is better. I definitely heard the dynamic range at work on this device as it was a LITTLE grading at times when hitting -10db....so this fifine, I would try to hit -18 and boost in post

@ObscureMics I agree I have to use it through USB. If I use it on the SC3 (which could partially be my crappy puter also) XLR I have to crank it and be almost on top of the mic for it to be loud enough. Rumors of some kind of firmware update for it, but I honestly have no idea.
