Believe it or not, the 5008 is Peugeot's first ever mid-sized MPV and with seven seats and plenty of space on side, it seems to have a lot going for it. Good car save for the Sloppy Peugeot Gearbox(r). I really don't understand why they keep that horrible box around, they've put it in cars for the last 11 years now and it feels exactly like making porridge.

Fifth gear is a better show than Top Gearbfor reviews of cars, however, it seems that all the cars they reviewed are good cars, which i do not believe it. Maybe car companies paid them to do the review or they are afraid of saying bad things about car.

All cars nowadays with some exceptions are good. Some are of course better, but few are bad.

Yes. That was up to 13 years ago. A lot has changed since. Accountants, not engineers, now design cars. Less durable, means more profits.

I dont know how you can say that this is ugly. I think it is a very smart and stylish looking car, angular and elegant in all the right ways. I am not alome: they are very popular and definitely would not have sold so well had they been ugly.

You're the first that I've heard that from. I've asked a lot of owners, and read a lot of reviews, and none of them have reported timing chain fails. Were you just unlucky with yours perhaps?
