Yeah they didn't win the competetion, but the winner, the runner up and every other contestant remain irrelevant in the music industry to this day, Fifth Harmony only went up from here, they won the world
This was before the finals and it seemed as if the other three contestants secured their places in the finals. After this performance they secured their place in the finals and all other three contestants were so unsure if they would make it to the finals. I so love this performance

Manuel Arreguin Actually that is whistle octave not falsetto - if you knew anything about actual female vocals - females are not considered to sing in Falsetto. Check your facts.

I remember I was like either 11 or 12 when they sung this and I was a die hard fan already lol. I was sitting as close to the TV as possible and had it all they way up and was crying because they sounded so good. Man the X Factor days man. I miss them sometimes when they weren't so big.
You said the key word "pop". Simon scooped them up after not winning X-Factor and they were still so young, not even 18, all beautiful, so of course any label would make them into a pop group. And of course pop music you can't have too much soul in your music. Which trips me out because they always put Adele in the pop category, but other artists with the same type of music/vocals in the r/b and soul categories. The industry is something else

The Innovator yep. Looking back your right. Camila cant just not b included in a part and she gets the main Adlibs and climax of the song. Sigh. I’m also bummed how no one really reacted to Normani here, I feel like she was one the least popular during her time in the group 😕
this is my fave fifth harmony x factor cover. i also really loved impossible but guys stop ranking them and saying some are bad if you want to consider yourself a Harmonizer. they are all phenomenal singers and their voices are unique in their own ways, so guys relax omfg. I personally think Ally and Dinah have the strongest voices, but that doesn't mean that Camila, Lauren, and Normani have bad voices. I love all of their voices equally and you should too.
+MrNutsack100 They are, and its sad that Camila gets all of the solos. In my opinion, Camila really isn't all that good of a singer and I think she gets the solos because she's the skinniest and considered the "hot one" of the group.
+Jaymie Lindsley Camila is an amazing singer though. Her voice is super unique and actually quite powerful. And her voice suits their songs, so its not quite a problem. And the hot one of the group according to everyone else, is Lauren.. Camila is considered annoying, the worst singer, an attention-freak and hated for everything she does. :P Js Maybe they'll give everyone equal solos in their next album, I do agree there should be more solos for the other girls as well, like in the Better Together EP.
dinah is so underrated. she's an amazing singer ally right behind her. I don't understand the fandom regarding Camilla ... If she keeps on hogging that spot light this group will not last and I'll be there in line for dinahs album when she goes solo!
If you were truly involved in the Harmonizer fandom you would know that each of the girls are appreciated evenly by their different personalities and voices. No one is underrated or overrated
+Angel Cruz You must be living under a rock. Camila is way over hyped and then Dinah is way under hype. Dinah's voice is so much better than Camila's in so many ways yet she's the most famous for being mediocre
+Vanessa a. If you watch all their x factor performances, you'll see that Lauren hogged the spotlight...Normani right behind her but not that much. In about 90% of those performances Lauren was always in the middle. Seriously though they only used Ally, Dinah, and Camila when they needed them.
The show was packed that night, I remember waiting in line with Dinah's family members, her Grandparents unfortunately didn't get to see the show, do to lack of seating capacity. 5th Harmony performed this same song two weeks in a row which placed them into the top 3... Fortunately, her grandparents reserved a seat for the following week at the Semi-finals... That night I had first ever heard this song... Dinah's Angel voice was the hi light part of this song that teared me up.
Paula Pasar Seeing all this old Fifth Harmony stuff and remembering the good X Factor days where I was at a really good point in my life, watching them at the finals close to Christmas, and following them and having so much hope in them and to have it end like this (well not end, but Camila leaving) makes me so sad....
They performed so well under all the pressure and considering what was at stake for them. This was literally a do or die performance for them (they were the underdogs) and they sang like their lives depended on it. This performance literally had my entire family and I in a trance when we watched it live. Absolutely phenomenal 😍
Because at the time the X Factor was being filmed she was the only one who had the strength to do them. Her voice was far more matured and confident than the rest of the girls so she was given more solos
They are all brilliantly QUEEN singers, Dinah just has the highest voice, Camila has the cutest voice, Normani can WHISTLE, Lauren has great emotion in her singing, and Ally has the greatest dedication and that HIGH notes she pulls off in every Better Together song...means they're all GOOD.
I don't understand why people are still ranking the girls by there voices. This was in 2012 and its been 2 (almost 3) years later. They were literally little babies at this time. They didn't have the best voices, they were 16 and 15 at the time. If anything it's different now. Lauren had the strongest voice in xfactor. But now, a few years later her voice became raspier and Dinah has matured and her voice has gotten better.
