A brief statement on how this series has helped me, starting week 1 of this series, i had to quit my job due to a taekwondo college scholarship, then week 2 had to start grinding, week 3 i started having some setbacks such as, low funds for transportation and equipment, week 4 my dad gave me some equipment and i was able to do a quick job and got some money, week 5 kept grinding, week 6 i had no money, mentally unstable because i wanted to keep grinding but i had no money, but just as your mom called you to lift you up, my mom and dad did it, i learned from that conversation you had with your mom was that when you’re tired, that that’s the hardest part, but getting up from that fall is how you make up for it, got offered a job which is way better than the last one and finally i was able to start training again, Thanks CJ!
This segment about referees is why you are looked up to by so many young athletes in our sport, man. So many people would and do raise these concerns in an angered, confrontational manner. You are discussing it in the most classy way, and all referees and chairpersons should watch this. Very impressive composure, and this is definitive of a true martial artist and champion. Respect 🙏
It's almost 3am in France and I'm here watching cj's vlog that's crazy😅 but i agree with you, some referees think that when we ask for something we're gonna question their judgment.... So they're closed-minded and it's very frustrating when we're trying to find out things just to improve ourselves. I hope that will change with time. At the moment I don't dare start competing, it's very scary and I don't feel capable, I have this feeling of constantly being at a disadvantage.But it was one of my resolutions... I'm stuck here😐
