Madrimov proved he's at the top level here. That said, Soro gets a lot of unfair stick IMO. I don't understand it. The man fights and takes on the best. His losses and the draw were very close affairs, arguably unfair to Soro as these things go. I thought he beat Antoine Douglas in the US. Baysangurov I'd have to watch again, but Soro put him on the canvas early. I think Brian Castano got the SD in Paris because he was then an unknown who proved to be dynamite fighter, but their fight looks like a draw to me. Though I don't think the draw with Charlo robbed Castano, I do think Soro looked a little better against the Argentine. I had Madrimov ahead, but no way was I counting Soro out even in Tashkent.

@@musasalijanov8225 Absolutely see your point and agree to certain degree, however, It has been the case in the past where punching after the bell has resulted in a disqualification, on some occasions when the offender was clearly winning the fight. I’m sorry, but that’s why rules and regulations are in place. Do you see what I’m saying? I did in fact start off my first comment with ‘Soro was clearly losing….’ At the end of the day, the round ended yet another 7 damaging punches were thrown and landed after the bell had sounded. A no contest would be generous in my opinion It could well have been a disqualification

@@musasalijanov8225 it's not..he probably was on his way to a win...and if the ref hadn't missed the bell he may have got the stoppage in the next round...but you can't land 7 punches after the bell and the ref wave it off...soro should've been saved by the bell....and I don't have a horse in this race

Unfair? He threw a bunch of punches after the bell.. Roy jones got disqualified for throwing 1 punch while he’s opponent was going down and took his first loss even though he was winning now this guy threw like 7 illegal punches and you’re talking about unfair

I don’t think Madrimov is the kinda guy to lose control and keep throwing heaps after the bell, I genuinely don’t think he heard it. Then it’s on the referee to keep both fighters safe, which he didn’t.

Looked average, got hurt in multiple occasions, where his opponent never pressed on (Rookie). And the T.K.O will be a straight out steal if it sticks.

@@2thebestsport839 All I know is that Soro is a top 10 light middleweight and Madrimov handled him just fine. Soro arguably beat Castaño when they fought (went to a split decision)

Unfair to Madrimov? It would be unfair to boxing to let that absurd stoppage stand and move on as if there's nothing to see. It needs to be a no contest. I mean, if Soro had been knocked unconscious at least you could argue it, but he wasn't. Soro took 5 power punches after the bell and was still standing and had the bell been respected he would've walked to his corner just fine

Madrimov should be disqualified. The bell went off for nearly 4 seconds and Madrimov kept punching on. You'd have to be deaf not to hear the bell which i doubt is the case here.

maybe he should've acted like a professional boxer and reacted to the bell.

That's not how it works. Those last five shots were fouls and the ref had no business calling it. Madrimov had no choice. It would have been ruled an NC no matter what.
