How does that child have a gun at school? How?!?!?! When are schools going to use hand-wands until metal detectors can be installed? How many lives must be lost?
It's one of the only highschools here in Harford county that doesn't have metal detectors it's a shame to cuz this kid wouldn't had made it into the school if they just took time to put in metal detectors
My thoughts exactly what I said yesterday about the Georgia school now this is my State now crazy metal detectors please schools come on now and monitor kids as well on school grounds when school is let out … So sad . Honestly I can’t remember what school shooting it was we have so many however they talked to a parent opinion regarding metal detectors. The parent said that seems like a jail I don’t like that idea I’m like really it’s about safety now look

You all are emotionally attaching this to the Georgia tragedy and other “mass school shootings”. This is tragic but doesn’t seem to be the same at all. 2 kids got into a fight that escalated into a shooting. Kid shouldn’t have had a gun, sure, but wait for more details before going off the deep end. I live in MD, these type of incidents happen often you just don’t hear about them all.

Saying prayers for the victim and his family, you, all the students, staff, families, and everyone working on the case. God loves you and everyone else, and though it's hard to believe, He is with you and all dealing with this. He can't control others who choose to do evil, but He will be with everyone who has to deal with it and looks to Him to get them through it.
I've lived here in Maryland since the 80s Joppa town highschool is about 10 mins from me it's one of the only highschools without metal detectors I can't understand why the other highschool have them and not Joppa town my daughter goes to Bel Air highschool which is a Harford county public school as well and they have police officers in the school all day long and metal detectors kids nowadays are a lot different than when I went to school this school shooting crap needs to stop something needs to be done I feel horrible for the parents that lost their child today I can't even imagine what they are going through

How are these students taking guns to school in the first place where are the parents?? I have 2 teens and my teens would never be taking guns to school and yes one of my teens owns a BB gun and Bo and arrow but they’re locked away and supervised while being used!! We don’t use them in neighborhoods and both by kids are happy about it!!!
We need to talk to our kids and young adult about violence conflicts. We need to do more to help parents more. Some kids come from troubled homes when have violence in our homes.
No no. A lot of them are smart and funny and hard working, with college aspirations and bright thoughts. Don't group them with the lost souls. Every generation has them.

These little kids need to stay off Roblox and GTA they too into the gameplay , I joined my nephew server and they was on there hosting Full fights and Planning school bathroom fights , I was like wtf is this what ya do in real life !! And I apparently is the new trend they plan quick fades in bath room like the Roblox trend
Everyone is crying about guns in schools. No one seems interested in why someone would think they would need one. Was the kid bullied? Teased incessantly? Made a mockery of? You might even say "Well that's okay, they're just kids in school teasing one another." Speaking from the other side of that equation, I was bullied, teased and mocked. It's not okay. The system didn't punish the bullies, they encouraged them. It became the accepted norm. Then things escalate to theft, property damage and other issues. I just wrote a book about this called Ronin Children. If the students don't find justice from the adults expected to provide it, then they will make their own, and it will not be fair and equitable. You won't see guns in schools when kids no longer feel they need them.
@@rgw1380rw conduct, responsibility and accountability starts at home. Parents should take responsibility for their children's actions. No under age or mentally challenged persons should have access to any kind of weapons, especially guns.
Wish the media wouldn't post now every little thing that's happening with any and every school right now. This isn't terrorism even though it's a gun in school which is bad but has nothing to do with active shooter or anything. Everyone's on high alert and scared enough as it is.
God is the only one who can fix this horror. But the "we're never going back" crowd will not allow God and prayer back into American schools. Without Him we can expect more of this and much worse (as horrible as that sounds). It is prophesied the Bible is clear.

We took prayer out of schools, fathers our of families, discipline away from children, God out of the center of our culture, and the ten commandments out of our values. And so, we are left wondering why these things happen and thinking that metal detectors will solve the problem. You can't fix heart problems with laws or technology. America, turn back to God and ask forgiveness.
