Been wanting to get a kiln cape for a long time. My first attempt failed doing melee about 10 months ago. Decided on a whim to give it a try again with range today, since it might be slightly easier for a first time cape. Stumbled upon your video, watched it once just chillin and then again while I did the kiln. Lo and Behold, minutes ago I just got my first kiln cape! You’re guide was amazing and I’m so glad I found it. It honestly helped to keep me calm and not panic like I normally do. Thank you for helping me get my first cape my dude!!
Hello everyone, just wanted to say thank you for watching and enjoying the video. I posted this video for some friends who needed it and left it open and forgot about it as I thought it might help others. I currently do not play RS anymore but do plan to play and post more videos about other games. However! this does not mean that I wouldn't be willing to play RS again in the future and create more guides. But, for now thank you, and I will be reading all of the comments that I have missed.

I really appreciate this guide! It's the only guide I've ever watched that has gone through detail by detail on how the fight will go. That's a lot of effort for this, as the Kiln fight lasts quite a long time. Most guides just say "here's what you need" and "here's the attacks to watch out for". I truly appreciate your attention to detail in this guide and the time spent making it. I hate searching for guides because I know I'm just going to get a general idea of the fight, so thanks for this!

Wow, I'm so happy I came across your guide. I returned to the game a few days ago after taking a year or so break. I never attempted the kiln and really wanted to get these capes done. I did the first attempt alongside your video and managed to survive and the next attempt I did "on my own" and was able to beat it using what I learned in this video. You are really talented at breaking down and explaining exactly what is going to happen and how to deal with it. I hope you make more long-form guide videos like this one; a bossing series where you talk-through each fight would be amazing. Subbed and looking forward to more!

Dude I went in as a try out - forgot my warmaster potions, brought not enough super restores - and I got it with magic haha. Definitely way easier thanks to your guide. Now im gonna get my range and melee ones!
Thanks, I did notice that there were few "good" guides out that actually broke down the fight and instead just gave an info dump without any references.
You are most welcome! To be honest with you, and everyone else, I created this guide for some friends who couldn't figure it out. I don't even play RS anymore but thought if it could help them, then it could help others. So, I'm glad that so many people found it to be useful.
awsome in depth guide for a newbie like myself who has not got to try "yet", but after this i would feel like it is possible, just a quick question, would a pickaxe not break the shells if you have one in toolbelt ? thanks for your vid.

Yo thanks for the help did the kill with arma asylums suregons ring and chaotic c bows. I had 7 food and 4 brews left its possible with lower level gear... I also got recomended to use obsidian armour that give 40% damage reduction. But yeah ranged cape and pet on first kill thanks for the help man
honestly, I don't remember. However I can say that it was in game settings. Though it could also be my monitor, I use a flat screen TV and not a computer monitor.
for the ones where you have to break off their shell i got two of them behind the slabs to safe spot with a DRL and i didnt take any damage at all. hope this helps anyone doing it!
This guy is so afraid to spend money on prayer pots...Don't be afraid to use your best prayers at all times, bring a couple extra restores and you're good.
