@@troymcclure681 he still would of lost, Jones was ushering in the new era. What’s the excuse for Jin flipping it on other opponents who used “racist jokes,” which is utterly ridiculous btw. Jin would never beat Jones, even if this battle was in China.
Serious cooked him... doesn’t matter what race the crowd was... Jones defeated him with personals and narrowed down on him... This was a FLAWLESS VICTORY...
the two billion people in china punchline is the greatest punchline I've ever heard used in a battle. Also, I don't get the people that say that Serius has no flow. He was flowing pretty good, the problem is that his punchlines were garnering so much reaction that he often had to pause between battles.
I agree with you. Jin made the mistake of bringing too much freestyle to a league that wanted to hear good written raps. Jin usually only did freestyle as a rebuttal, and it was improvised. Every great rapper that has the testicular fortitude to be judged gets a loss at some point. He got his here. Now a days a lot of rappers want a paycheck no matter what the outcome is. Jin did it for just the wins back then. When he lost, he got nothing. Jin VS. Dizaster I always wanted to see.
Serius won this battle. I was a huge Jin fan too. Jones was right when he said it's about getting paid as well. Lot of people say Serius wasn't rapping, just slow talking writ ten's. Jin did this as well though. Jin had a way of being clever, mixing his freestyle in with them to sound like they were of the top. Jin being Chinese wasn't a disadvantage either. He knows it's coming, so he has sick rebuttals for those lines.Good example of Jones getting in Jins head, and every rapper has a bad day.
Eh! Yeah, Jones was pretty creative and level headed in this match up. I have to give it to Sirius Jones. Jin is my favorite of the two but Jones took this one.
yep.. black people use racism in jokes and hip hop but won't take it.. just an observation.. but i understand not taking it from a white person as there's history..
@@sterlingturner5318 No one is saying the rules should be changed. Its more about being aware that those wins are micky mouse victories with astericks next to it
Serius Jones: *Cough* Crowd: OOOOOOH Serius jones: Look, Crowd: OOOH THAT WAS DOPE Serius Jones: and then i.... Crowd: OOOOOOOH SHIT! -_- that's why I don't give murda mook a penalty for bringing his cheerleaders.
@@BingDwenDwen This is HipHop (ie. Black Culture created from the dirt).. If you want Asian bias or favoritism go join a Kung Fu class or something.. Get The Fuck Away from Black Music.. You sound way too sensitive.. Lol..
exactly u said it 10six and park!!, the fans dont vote, they have 3 judges that are inpartial !!, in fight club is different!, specially when your free to be as vulgar as you want. 2 DIFFERENT ATMOSPHERES bro!, a person that is non white has to be more careful on how to attack the black rapper's race and color, the black guy can spit garbage most the time , but once he talks about the other dudes' race and makes a good line the whole crowd goes CRAZY!, and can win based on that 1 line!
the thing about alot of this battles, when is not black vs blacks it can get really racial. cuz no matter how good the other opponent is , unless he is black , he is at a disadvantage because the majority of the crowd is gonna cheer and go for the black guy no matter what!.. cuz they woud feel mad low if someone that wasnt black dissed them at their own shit. its like a white kid or a asian kid beating a black dude in basketball 1 on 1 . thats how i feel !..thats just me though
jin's last verse has the most emotion i've ever heard in a freestyle battle. every other person was black and he had to bare with jone's racist punchlines and had to comeback with verses that werent sensitive to the black audience. definitely the one of the best MC's ever
Jin rapped first and told a black man his only options in life were to pump rocks (sell crack) or spit (rap). Serius Jones defended himself from this culture vulture Azn racist and he did magnificently. Shoulda been more committed to his anti-black racism if he wanted to come on that angle.
Let’s admit one thing that Jin had taken too many racial jokes against Asian, but he barely fight back with black jokes cuz he knew what would have happened. This is unfair for him but he still beat most of people he met along the battle rap journey
Lmao Jones wasn't even rapping...the crowd was mostly black and already made up their mind who they cheering for before the match started. So bias, such a disgrace to rap battle everywhere
crowd wasn't biased against Jin, he got laughs his 1st round... on 106 and Park was an all black audience and he won 7 weeks straight on there, he just plain lost here
ALOT of amazing battles went down in fight club that we'll never see. Hollow Da Don v. Cortez Cortez v. Scott Free Serius Jones v. Math Hoffa Iron Solomon v. ZM Reed Dollaz v. T-Rex T-Rex v. Loaded Lux Locksmith v. Iron Solomon marvwon, poison pen, sonny bamboo, madd illz, murda mook, & nems all battled there multiple times. . . . but once again, we'll never see em. fuck mtv.
At the end of the day. I will forever remember the name Jin till the day I die. And serious jones, well I’ll probably forget who he is in the next hour or so once I log off of RU-vid... 🤷🏻♂️
Thats stupid. Serious Jones and Jins name, as far as rap battles goes, are forever to be mentioned in the same sentence for ever. Lol You cant say Serious Jones and not think of Jin. You cant say Jin and not think of Serious Jones. If you actually like and know battle rap culture. You sound like a race bandwagon groupie that has no knowledge of the art of his "favorite" artist .... Sad...
Actually I CAN. And I swear on my own grave I actually did! Lol bullshit aside I’m barely replying cuz I checked my notifications just now. And when I seen you’re reply my first thought from your comment was “fuck I actually did forget who serious Jones is. 🤔” .. Not even lying. I watch battle rap here and there. Not always but I’m no stranger. Lol
@@MarcusDobson916 Jones is a nobody Jin will always be rememberd for his freesstyle rap battles. jones will always be remembered for this battle with Jin. Look at how many footage there is of Jones on youtube vs how many footage there is about Jin and you know thats facts.
To assume he’s in danger and would be killed by “dissing these black people” is actually more racist. Jin was battling Serius, not the crowd. Unfortunately for Jin, his insecurity led to his demise.
Please. Serius Jones had by far the most punchlines. There were 3 jokes, the one about DMX and the dogs, the other one about Jin cooking dogs, and another one that was similar. But even without those metaphors, Serius Jones was still killing Jin throughout the entire battle. He grabbed the mic and turned the camera around and Jin was sweaty and uncomfortable so you know he was losing.
Hold on everybody jin can really freestyle and i will never frown on him but man! serius jones is serious man, and y'all should stop the racial issue shit, right before our eyes jin has won battles against hundreds of blacks and the crowd was almost all the time predominantly black, he just met the wrong guy that's all!!!
That wasnt a fair battle, lets say Jin was in China around nothing but Asians. Then lets say Jin went all out with Racial battle dissing, Serious Jones would of lost before it began. Jin still won depite him being limited in what he could comeback with, its messed up seeing Blacks going racial. Jin was classy not to go there, and Serious Jones was wack for doing it ! Peace.. _Swagg'
TheGyoshon LMFAOOOOOO u rough riding Jin’s shrimp roll lol 😂 FOH! Jin got destroyed and even he knew it lol 😂 the crowd knew it too! That’s why he was mumbling a bunch of the same corny shit cuz he ain’t had nothing worthy to come with
Crowd biased as f#$%. Serius moans with no flow and written scripts. And how can you play the race card talking about a person's heritage in a crowd full of blacks? "Yeah, I'm going to talk about your heritage. How you sleep in a celler with 11 relatives?" Are you for real dissing Asians? Jin could have talked about the slave trade with blacks packed and chained in the ship sold off to the South. I know what this is; it's a joke 'cause Serius is a comedian--ain't no MC or rapper. Jin would have gotten shot after if he talks about heritage.
ITS A BATTLE ! ANYTHING goes. Quit being sensitive and wait until theres an MC with enough balls to say some wild shit like that just to SEE if they get away with it. Your'e only assuming he would have gotten shot, but in reality Black folk in the battle rap world respect anyone that stands on the shit they talk. End of the day its a verbal fight.
Jin had weak punchlines all night. He finally started coming along when he used basketball metaphors, but they were hella weak compared to Serius Jones.
@@noneyabeeysnass8283 Jin had mad hard punchlines, but his punclines were no jokes but hit hard, when he exposed Jones for throwing racial slurs, that had hit hard, made the whole crowd quiet with shame.
Jones was doper, less words, slower, calmer, but more content. Kind of like focused super blasts that were funny. Gotta respect Jin for his other performances and off the top freestyles though, he grew from this.
That crowd was so bias it hurt to be black while watching this. Serius says something sterotypical about Asian people and gets applause but if Jin says anything even remotely offensive he gets hate. Come on black folks get it together Jin had less to work with and still did good.
@ironbull2003 From pretty much every angle, Serius was better. Jin came off sloppy, unprepared and shook. Jones was well prepared, funnier and more technical. A large amount of Jones's lines weren't even racial, and they were still better than anything Jin said. Besides, the "racial bullshit" never held Jin back - he always won BECAUSE of it. He was just bad in this battle - simple as that
Jin got roasted. All racist jokes aside, he didn't bring it. The chinese jokes didn't stop him from winning before. He just lost his touch, this battle hurt his career then the Iron Solomon battle it was over for Jin
crowd was biased, Jin hit him hard with the racist accusation, everybody was quiet, felt ashamed for Jones, because everbody knew Jin was spitting the truth, it hit hard.
For the record Jin only started to freestyle once serious called him out and forced him off his game, it's called psychological warfare...lol.. It was apparent that Serious was doing the same thing that he accused Jin of doing, that's why he exploited it!! That was brilliant, if you ask me Jin was the foolish one for not calling Serious out on his pre-written raps that he prepared for him. People keep complaining about he crowd? They had judges!!! 1 of which is part of platinum selling label...
jin fans in the comments are real salty and delusional. y'all are really butthurt that jin got ate up lol it's alright it happens to the best of them. jin clearly lost this battle clearly he even admitted it himself so quit crying and get over it..
jin really brought it out. his flow was amazing, he pulled some great lines and managed to work it all together. serius didnt even rap! he just made up some corny two liners and let everyone laugh as his lame ass jokes. jin won. the room was just black
@oiNsTiiNcTz playing to the crowd is stooping? you forget that MC means Move the Crowd... and those lines werent cliched at the time, maybe they are now though
You knew jin didn't have the crowd when he made those great rebuttals. Like the Calibration with x and not go plat in Africa. Nobody gave him props for that off the top. Plus he was like the Yankees of freestyle at this point. 7 straight wins here. People wanted someone new. They found him in Jones.
@deathrowbehavior93 Exactly, Jin won the title in PUERTO RICO people. Surrounded by hispanics and blacks, so it's not like he doesn't get his props or fair shake. Hearing his rhymes here, anyone even a Jin fan could admit that he was off his game when he battled Serius. Jin wasn't prepared. He didn't even stand up to serious AT ALL. Not ONE line he said was hot or was every memorable.
@BlackStunna818 I get your point, but this argument has been done to death. Fight Klub was not against Jin at all - they had him as the champion, come on. The crowd was on his side when he was good, and he wasn't good here. Serius won the crowd because he gave amazing performances in each battle. And Serius didn't accept that rematch, but why would he? He already beat Jin, who had clearly been just waiting for another chance. Jin obviously had a ton of shit prepared and Serius probably didn't
@RhodeIslandsOwn Jin did a lot of freestyling in the battle, yeah... that's not a good thing. When they both know they're gonna battle each other, and one person doesn't prepare, it's his own fault if he gets slaughtered. Serius brought his whole family? Nah, each rapper is limited to how many people he can bring, so Jin and Serius would've had the same amount of people. Though none of this matters cos Serius was obviously better
@HandyManny00Lobos Jin's technically American too but ok. Why would Jin need to say things about black people anyway? Most of Jin's battles are against black people, with black crowds. Most of his opponents make Asian jokes against him too. Jin still won most of them. What makes those battles any different from this one? The answer is that this time he actually had a good opponent and wasn't good himself
Jones was making jokes the hole battle to win the crowd.. Jin is hard And KILLED all the top MC's for years, then has a slightly bad battle & all yall go jump on Jones dick, Where is Serious Jones today? no clue...Jin is doing his thing in Hong Kong..He never fell off...but Jones did ;)
@rsxzx6r Just because you're a battle rapper doesn't mean you have to battle everyone who asks. Serius already beat Jin, and didn't want a rematch right there because obviously Jin had been planning it. Jin would have a ton of lines ready and Serius wouldn't, because he moved on.
@ironbull2003 how is anyone racist in this video? there are racial jokes told, but that's different. and before you pull out the whole "jin only lost cos he's chinese against a black guy", remember that jin was a champ and beat plenty of black rappers, including streetz tha block who you see here
smh all you people talkin bout you lost respect for serious jones and or thumbs up the bullshit. GTFOH Serious Jones seriously ended jins american carrer. it was a good thang for both of em tho. jones got his props and jin went back to china and blew up.
@kidlunatic serius was funny - he attacked his opponent the same way most people have, except better. and if you go back and listen, half of his material wasn't even racial, it was about jin's career. regardless, jin was pretty terrible here anyway
