For anyone wanting to get back in this game and wanna get high overall, here's what I do. England gym. Get Inside skills training. 20% athletic training one week. 10% athletic training another week. Rest. Wish I had followed this method years ago. Very effective, at least for me.
@@darrencovtre3314 when you pick how you want to train you only have 2 options which is skills or Athletic training ..Athletic for things like speed , power, endourance ect .
i usually do skills training 1st week (-50% stamina), athletic training 2nd (-20%), and athletic training 3rd (-10%). then i rest last to regain all my stamina.
you lose a lot of xp there dude. I mean skills training give you all stats increased, it also give you tons of xp to improve your boxer's grow. I mean I max the left hook only and I became a champion so easy.
If you run away the AI will just relentlessly attack, keep moving in to block the body jabs, and moving away forcing them to miss their power shots. Still keep an eye out for counters and openings, but be selective, only throw 1-2 punches when you're 100% sure, and let them do the rest by wasting stamina throwing punches. Try to set up counters when their stamina is depleted, and/or just attack if they drain it completely, and you can flash rock or KO them with ease, especially later on.
You know what I reconsider my last comment LOL this is an amazing video great advice this is the best boxing game ever I am very great at it now because of skill training I had a boxer a while back played good not good enough I was doing athletic training and some skills training but I learned a lot more by watching your video that skills training is the way to get better Improvement and also when you age in this game you're Rating goes down
Keep an eye on how many weeks your training camp is. It's up to four, but sometimes is only two if your next fight is too soon after the once you just fought.
I spar, rest, spar, rest, fight. Unless I have less than 4 weeks. Also be careful to pay attention to month you are in for training. If the year switches in the middle of your training time it could mess up your plans like for instance, if you trained one week and your rest week is the beginning of a new year, you might lose that rest week and the game might glitch and move you to fight week with whatever stamina you had. Happened multiple times to me but only once per legacy character.
mate wants me to get undusputed, but from what i have seen this blows it away even the gfx are a match using emulator upscaled. have a question though in legacy mode training, why does it waste 8 weeks of your training program doing nothing? peace
@1175G09, its because you have a small or no hard drive. i found out why that happened to me. get a bigger hard drive and youll get to see and store replays. :)
How do you keep fight night from cheating you out of a week of rest or training ..screen goes to fighter of week or year or retiring fighters then takes a week of Training usually leaving you with 50% stamina and an already weak fighter giving you a loss you didn’t deserve
I only do athletic training and use 80% stamina. Train 3 weeks straight at 30, 30 and 20% for different attributes and then rest the last week to recover that 80%.
Yeah but you get xp for boxer growth from skills training, sparring is the easiest imo, as long as you hit the targets all your attributes get bumped and if you hit the top twice (train, rest, train, rest) all your attributes will be full and you’ll have more points to make your boxer better
@DahStoryTella yeah, won all the belts in welterweight and then middleweight and only did athletic training. Found it easier as it means you can train for three weeks straight
after my very first fight, the manager sent me an email that says i have an injury and i could be heal if i pay 12,000 but i didnt have that much money especially if you just started. and i got 2 belts right now in middle weight, and after the 4 rounds of fight against the champion, the manager sent me an email that says that i cant continue anymore because of injury.. me record is 34-5-1 and has 2 belts.. how can i heal my injury?
I've never had a problem with stamina, people who complain about it throw way too many punches and are always throwing punches with no openings and not countering. It's really easy to rope a dope the AI in this game 😂. If you have a hard time with this game then odds are you do t understand boxing in general.
Better yet, just use it all, go in with 0%, and run away for the first 3 round, block and make your opponent miss, when he starts to slow down, block body shots, and sway-counter head shots, I prefer to land body shots to help him along. Even if you start with 0%, in-game you fight @ 20% minimum, if you fight smart and defend well, you'll gain around 12% up to 32%, and your opponent will throw too many punches. Continue this process until he's around 60% or less & counter when he has no stamina.
Kaosbubi HD it's because athletic training wears down every week. One week you're a 73 OVR. A few weeks later, you're a 67. I suggest getting a mass amount of XP and then using it
@plccfc weird... my overall is 94 and im in G.O.A.T... at first i was losing overall so then i trained athletic 3 outta 4 weeks, avoided alot of damage in the fight and it started going up..
+TommyGlonczi Some camps will boost certain categories more(Strength, Speed, Toughness, etc...), but will always boost all of them. The exact amount depends on how well you do in that camp's training sessions.
how come some of the fights are like 15 weeks away but i only had to heal for 2 weeks but it skipped a whole 9 weeks and started training only for 4 weeks, isnt that like bad in real life, boxers should be training everyday since their scheduled matches
@bingpo72 Throwing missing punches/blocked punches, will drain your stamina and not theirs(if they are playing defensive). Also use your power punches sparingly.
You read my mind exactly what I Am dealing with now!!!! It is so irritating you go into a fight and most of your attributes aren't where they supposed to be especially endurance and conditioning one of the two main very important parts of boxing and then when you training everything drop backs down
It is annoying, and a sad reality of the game. You gain stamina I think max 15% if you don't miss any punches, or get hit with any. This drops based on what you throw, and what you land, but blocked punches don't really effect it, and it's mostly based on punches thrown, not damage taken. You need to fight more defensive so your opponent wastes his stamina, and his aggressiveness will also leave more openings for you offensively to pick your shots more accurately, and more effective.
@inimicalODDITY errr I know but have u ever seen in a boxing match a boxer only throwing counter punches? I havent coz if i didnt throw any punches online it wouldve been a punchless fight
how about a video that shows you how to knock some one out on legacy fuk me i could go the distance n win somtimes i draw tho, but wow its hard to knock someone out whers counters gone, i use to demolish people with counters but my stupid ass boxer moves his head about an inch.. any tips would be much appreciated ahhh!! lol
It's insanely easy to knock people put in legacy lmao I'm 21 and 3 with 19 Kos as a lightweight. It's all about knowing when to hit them and learning how to counter, I have 3 first round Kos.
Broken ass game. I was on the fucking heavyweight title fight and had a 4 week camp. I trained 3 and was going to rest my last one and the year ended and it showed all the awards and when I went back to rest it took me straight to fight with 20% stamina. I am done trying with this game. I have been doing the same shit for years on it and always fight good and get fucked over by the game.
fuck this game, I have been playing the shit outta this game and w/e I go into a fight I have all of my athletics at max. However, Even though in the later rounds of the match I have a very high hit percentage and rarely miss the other fighter, which causes your stamina to drain crazy fast, I only gain 3-8% max stamina as the rounds go on, while my puss ass opponent who I am really fucking up is getting 11-15% of their stamina back. I guess I'm just pissed bc that is fucking annoying.
love everything about the game except the fucking training, its pretty boring and ridiculously difficult for the small xp award and why when the fights scheduled for 3 months away does your boxer only train twice, please make the training a little easier more fun and more realistic for next game
@jorgencream Man, you have no idea what boxing is. What do you want other people to do? Just swing at you so you can knock them out? By countering and jabbing to the body, they are effectively disassembling your fighters stamina and balance. It's not called "The Sweet Science" for no reason. If you actually your head around the art of boxing, you would know or learn how to get in and out without being countered or jabbed on too many times.
Legacy Mode in this game is stupid you cannot keep none of your athleticism or attributes you train and everything goes back down what's the point of training you train for conditioning and endurance but you going into a fight with no power so either you pick two because they won't allow you to do all the things you need to do to because a great Fighter
Its not easy. Its fucking hard as hell and its impossible to get any better especially when you only train for 2 weeks. Another thing who the fuck trains once a week? We should be able to train everyday between the time the fight was scheduled and the day before the fight. Its not even fun all I do is lose and feel like a loser I like the game but its not rewarding and I can never win unless its champion mode. Please EASPORTS try to make the game more fun and easier to play.
