I believe every stance works in MMA, it is more to do with your skill set and understanding of range and timing. Hence you get top fighters with such different stances like Anderson Silva, Wonderboy Thompson, Conor McGregor, Jose Aldo, Edson Barboza, Sean Strickland etc etc. They all have such different stances but all Elite Fighters. A lot of One FC fighters come from Muay Thai Backgrounds too if you want to look for Muay Thai in MMA. Having good takedown defence will also give you more confidence to adapt a Muay Thai stance in MMA
