Honestly, we love Milla so much that little things like plot don't really matter. We're willing to forego such trivialities cause she's SO damn good at the fantasy action badass femme fatale thing. Nobody does it better.

Damn! Milla plays these roles very well. She could have easily done Lara Croft, Domino, Black Widow or Hela. She is amazing!

I reaally enjoyed this movie! Well, as a kid.

I've only seen a few Milla Jovovich films (Resident Evil is a modern classic). What I like about her is that full on commitment to being "action sci-fi, horror, badass". I once saw an interview with her and, yes, she has younger brothers and nephews. She loves being a hero to them. And she LOVES that she does these films that appeal to 13 year old boys! SHE GET'S IT. And she throws it all down, her performance in each film shows that. Heck, that's WHY she's in them. Bravo. And why the fuck hasn't Tarantino noticed?

Easily one of my favorite guilty pleasures, just mindless fun.

I watched this movie when I was around 6 years old. This movie is the reason why my favorite color is Violet. Not lying! And the woman is my favorite actress by then... Ugh I love her!!! And yes I wrote this in December 2019

I loved the weapons in this movie and the idea of downloading weapons out of thin air, such a cool concept and honestly I don’t even think a video game ever used this mechanic. A game like Cyberpunk 2077 should of had this mechanic/effect.

Omg I miss this movie! I can't believe I forgot this movie! This movie was so badass and especially Ms Jovovich I love all her roles especially resident evil, she was such a badass when I was growing up!

Under-rated and unnecessarily hated on film. Sure the plot might have been "stupid", but I classify this under the "fun but dumb" category. Action scenes for the most part were absolutely enjoyable and I for one, found the artistic, dreamlike, futuristic cinematography to be beautiful. I wish the unrated version would come to BR (so far the unrated is only on DVD)

This movie was so ridiculous, but truly in all the right ways. Loved it and still do.

If this movie was rated R it would have been so much better. I would love to see all the blood and carnage from her.

I sense a common theme with this and the live-action Resident Evil movies: a femme fatale stereotype with skin-tight clothes amidst a sea of faceless men who serve no other purpose than target practice, and to show off her body while she kills in slow motion.

When I was a child, I LOVED this movie soooo much that I don't even want to notice the stupid moments now! Violet was my favourite movie character (or at least one of them) back then, I really loved her and she influenced me a lot! It's a core memory stuff💜 P.S. I even remember low-key shipping her w the guy who was giving her weapons back then😊

It’s a damn shame this movie gets so much hate. When the action sequences are so fantastical and great. Plus having little blood in the fight scenes is such a great stylistic choice (almost like the exact opposite of Tarantino). Bloodruns the society, through fear and power, and so they only show it when they are trying to convey a deep emotion. Also too bad no one ever bothered to make ultraviolet comics, the world they set up in this movie demanded to be explored in an animated version.

Between this movie and the Resident Evil franchise, Milla is the bane of all anonymous masked, helmeted (and sometimes trench coat wearing) henchmen and security forces everywhere.

The room and set design is cool, I love symmetry.

This movie ain't Shakespeare, but it's fun. And that's all a movie needs to be.

Note to DVD collectors: The last part of the Library Fight Scene when Daxus asks _"How much weaponry does she have left?"_ and rips the balls off of the last guy is only included in the full movie in the Unrated Cut, as seen here. In the Limited Edition Steelbook it has been removed and only added as Deleted Scenes. The complete movie with all scenes included has a total running time of 94 minutes! All other DVD versions have 84 to 87 minutes only.

Interviewer: That's ok, we have plenty of guards so that really doesn't matter and for insurance reasons it's better not to fire the gun anyway. Applicant: Ok, but if someone breaks in and kills 200 other guards, shouldn't I shoot them? Interviewer: Sure, but in that case you should charge them and try to shoot them at arms length. You wouldn't want to miss, right? Applicant: That's true, I would probably miss at longer range. Interviewer: It's also best to charge in one at a time or else you might trip on one of the other guards. Applicant: Makes sense. Interviewer: Ok then, you got the job.
