I served along side then LTJG Willy McCool in the US Navy 1987/1988 with our carrier airwing on board the USS Coral Sea med-cruise , He was in a different squadron VAQ-133 Wizards as an ea-6b pilot or rio , Willy was a fantastic officer and human being , Rest easy sir !

@qutibplay1152 east coast. They've flown their Bear bombers down the coast to Cuba for over 50 years. Look up the cold war. I still see the Alert hangers at my local base. As a kid we had an intercept Squadron of F-106 fighters that put in that intercept work. Nothing but a thing.

No but they do sometimes fly pretty close to Alaska - and when the US & Canada send interceptors up, they fly professionally and don't pull off dangerous maneuvers like this.

Hearing a commercial jet taking off normally at the distance most people hear them won't damage your hearing unless you have really sensitive ears. Fighter jets taking off WILL damage your ears.

Just as would be if the Russians flew a bomber over the Gulf of Mexico. Of course, the Russians have no need for big bombers like that. The wing condensation video was a delight.
