Size of a Jumbo Jet, classed as a "fighter" sounds right for 40k.

I haven't seen ANY fiction involving the rak'gol! Super happy to see them getting mentioned! This is why I come here, a true appreciation for the deep lore and more obscure bits of the setting.

It would be very interesting if there is a Warhammer 40K dogfight video game.

Baldermort really shines when he's coming up with the opening short stories for these. Like a world class chef cooking up some heat in the kitchen

Battlefleet gothic has definitely informed me about the power of these small ships. Swarms of bombers to cripple major targets. Intercepters to scout and take down bomber, torpedoes and boarding crafts. Swarms of assault boats to overwhelm anything at extreme ranges. Who cares if they die, i have more!

I swear, I can't sleep on an Imperial Navy ship these days without "Starhawk loaded and sent" repeating endlessly in my head. I guess that's what happens when you main the Imperial Navy in Battlefleet Gothic Armada.

Double Eagle by Dan Abnett is an excellent novel on this topic. Highly recommended.

Would be pretty far in the backlog but a vid on the different infantry of the Navy might be pretty cool Armsmen can be so much more than just security guards with shotguns imo, theres been models on rogue trader armsmens and naval breachers and they all look nice Theres also been description of more elite naval units similar to scions and regimental stormtroopers Armsmens can also participate in away missions on far flung planets especially those working for rogue traders, soa few similarities with the red shirt of star trek

An early Baldermort video that’s awesome. The flyers are pretty awesome, same they are all forge world. I bought the air game, but it’s still have yet to assemble, but one day I will build it and play it with the Mrs.

My favorite proxies are their Chaos counterparts, the Hellblade and Helltalon. Though in 9th edition, their Imperial counterparts had 40% less point value for almost their same exact fighter stats. It's probably worse now since the Hell fighters are now in Legends.

While the Imperium is vast and known for their armies, but it is the might of the Imperial Navy that makes the Imperium continue to survive the past ten thousand years, and it is the fighters craft that are the first cog to the mighty war machine of the Navy.

Love the planes, fighters and bombers of the 40k universe.

Splendid video from the master storyteller! The starfighters are an ideal example of why the 40k universe is so fascinating. In a scifi/space opera universe which feels a bit same old same old there's something different and compelling about 40k.

I'm attempting a 40K novel and was wondering how a planetary defense station could hold out briefly against a large Ork Warband. A squadron of Fury fighters sounds perfect so I can flex a little voidspace combat before the ground invasion.

I like mixing a bit of fan fiction in with the lore, to many pieces of lore are so small you cant really expand into them but with a bit of fan fic based on the lore you could get lot deeper into the more general lore of WH40k. Emperor protect o7

After a while, the cargo pilot comes back on the radio and says, "So, what'd you think?" Jock: "What d'you mean? You didn't do anything. You just flew straight for a while." Cargo: "Oh no, that wasn't all. I got up, stretched my legs, got some coffee, and went to the bathroom..."
