I don't know why most Sri Lankan men are frustrated in sex, older a person gets they are more frustrated (this includes all professionals). Cyber crime division should consist of people who have travelled the world and learned from advance cyber crime systems. And politicans should not influence the police crime investigations. Every human has feelings, controlling your feelings is the skill or being a better human. Well said and well done Chethana!
Just got to know about her, She's such an empowering and a strong woman !! Love her attitude and how she's talking on behalf of all of us !! Lots of love and support to you girl❤️ and thanks to pulse for bringing content like this!! Well done.
Chethana, t hank you for sharing your experience for everyone to hear. People like you give hope to this country & empowerment to other women..💚 Aritha, you are doing a wonderful job too. These may seem like small things but I’d like to believe that one day all these small steps would help create change in our country
Thank you so much for this video. Honestly I didn't care about those cybercrimes, may be because I'm not that active on social media but now I know how deep, and dangerous they are. Grateful for your story and for your advices.
When I'm watching this programme its remembering a suicided child's news, one year ago. His parents believing as he was suicided due to addicted to video games but after checking the child's Facebook profile his father found that there was a sexual harassment went against to that child. It was only one story but there are lot of cases like this in our country which still not solved fairly. Laws and justice should never be broken because of culture. I really appreciate this program. These things should be discussed openly in our country.
Great and so inspiring interview Chethana!!!! 💖💖💖💖I am so proud of you. You are my favourite social media influencer 💞💞💞💞. As I feel we must legalise death penalty for people who are harassing women mentally, physically and verbally 💪💪💪. Actually I have seen there are private companies and offices indirectly divert and convert many young women into prostitution. SO DEAR FOLKS BE AWARE THESE THINGS ARE HAPPENING IN THIS SO CALLED DARMADVIPAYA. Please kindly investigate on these matter.
You are really a iron woman...most of our girls are facing these same issues by having wrong relationship....but some woman they will supposed to express their problems to society without any fear..but some...they will used to end their life as well...thank you for your valuable message to our girls....mam...love you🌹
Gothrika manasak tiyana minissu inna ratak ithin kohe diyunu karannada! Really disgusted by our people! Leddu inne me rate!!! Hats off to you Chethana ❤️
Rubbish. What a joke . The reason for crime and prevention needs different professionals like Psychologists, Spiritual leaders, community services and Buddhist temple and other religions as culture needs uplifting. This kind of legal BITCHES need to be stopped
When the people are not following the religious practices stated in respective religions, anyone has to face these type of issues. The solution is developing your own spirituality.
Wow chethana. U r such an inspiring person. I’ve been going through the same. But I still survive 😍 that’s the best satisfaction I have. I really love how u survived.
If anyone who's going through the comments section has done any mistake and at heart ache now because of fear and guilt, don't be ashamed of yourself. It's human nature to make mistakes. After all we are not angels. But you can always correct yourself, repent and not do that mistake again. The moment you correct yourself you'll be innocent as a newborn baby. You're precious and your life and emotions matter. You are not you your mistake. You're more than that and your happiness is more important. Don't go for suicide or anything. Seek help. 😘😘🧡🧡
Great discussion. We need better police training in this issue. Cyber crime unit need to recognise this is problem and do more.Pulse you need to put subtitles in singhala +tamil when they speak in English pls so everyone can understand
Chethana...hats off to ur courage for standing up to such bullying and talking about it on this platform, so that so many Individuals who are the victims of such harassment and are suffering in silence as a result of such cowardly acts can draw from ur experience.
While listening I understand it's not very easy to remind that situation for you but Miss Chethana Kathagoda it's very useful thing which you shared the ideas what should to do if someone face for that such situation one-day. Appreciate your confidence
Time to grow up people. We should not be sending things like this. People are not what they seem until you go trough the worse together. There’s a video on RU-vid (Era of Vijay) where a guy makes a fake profile on Facebook. Should see the messages he receives from these random people.
Thanks you very much That’s the true one you are deeply truly loving and trusting situation. As a result of that your community has been strong enough to defeat this circumstances overall diversity. But it’s as our local community what she can do and she wants to support from you to hear. Community service support and keep our women safe flat form lived in secure life. Good to hear from you all the way best regards.
I had the same problem, but I went Cyber Crime Unit and tried to fill a complaint. It is true, that there's no right law for these kinds of causes. But one lady officer helped me to handle that person without filing a complaint.
As a former member who used to handle cyber-bullying and cybercrime cases in the Sri Lankan context, I 100% agree that, it is next to impossible to crack down on perpetrators with the existing laws. However, the lack of much-needed legal reforms and the lack of know-how among law enforcement officers on social media related technicalities is something even the UK is struggling with.. not sure? here's a similar case ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3MgCUdAUhc8.html .. Anyhow, appreciate for sharing this unpleasant story and hope you'd get justice served.. on a side note, what happened to prevention is better than cure? as cybersecurity specialists we always advise not to share or post or capture something that could cause embarrassment, cuz it is always a swim upstream when it comes to battling cybercrime/cyberbullying
New laws should be implemented through the parliament. But these ministers and so-called ministries are not implementing any laws or endorsing the current ones that need amendment. We have to go through hell because the law enforcement has no laws to enforce.
Being responsible is the best thing. Sending nude pics of your self could be your RIGHT but facing consequences is also your responsibility then. It is like having unprotected sex with a HIV positive person willingly could be your right, but if you contract HIV from that person, you cannot say it is that persons fault. You have to face the consequences of your irresponsible acts, even engaging in those irresponsible act is your RIGHT !!!!
There are laws protecting children , youth, women and men from online , phone and other forms of exploitation including sexual abuse in developed world. I hope SL create laws and implement these laws in the country.
I think as a host, before invite a guest should know him or her name properly and their professional background.. it's very rude to misspell same thing twice..

Yes cyber bullying is wrong but th contents ppl publish is horrible too. Now every individual is becoming social media hero by showing some crap video.
Love your personality akki...im also got/getting those kind of harressment (sending d** pics )from even very known persons.they thought that wearing some kind of swim wear , bikini etc means that ,we want to do sex,or we are in a horny mood.🤣 totally its not boys!its your mentality not ours !
I read the story of a girl who turned an unsolicited di*k pic into an NFT, some others said they send it to that guy's mother, another one said they send another one in return eventually starting a d*ck pic contest 🤣
@@dinushidayananda7607 Sorry for the late reply. Sure. Instagram innawada? Mata message ekak danna :) Mama promise karanna ba eth puluwan widiyata help ekak karanna balannam
As a tiktoker, I get all those words,, like for no reason. Scolds me, my parents and my friends 😂 but I KNOW IM STRONG TO DEFEND AND BLOCK THEM 😝 GO GET A LIFE HATERS
@@annephilipiah1455 it's not confusing. People should wear what they want and what they feel comfortable in. Our society tries to stereotype people which is wrong
