Let's take a look back at the 1997 release of Fighting Force for the Sony PlayStation. One of the first 3D Beat 'em ups which was developed by Core of Tomb Raider fame and released by Eidos.
That actually sounds like a fucking awesome memory to look back on, and think about. For comfort, or whatever. It just sounds like a good time as a kid. Love it.
I really hope 2024 brings you so many more followers. This channel is horribly underrated, the production quality is absolutely amazing. I appreciate the intro, the information displayed next to the box art, all of it. Looking forward to many more videos.
Thank you for the kind words! The channel has been a good excuse to go back and play through some old games and interact with one of my favorite hobbies.
Every so often I will remember some random game I played in my youth and do a RU-vid search to seek if anyone had covered it, and I'm happy to see you not only covered this but many other games I had also forgotten about! I really dig your comfortable laid back style. Easy sub! Btw, is that a Fender Jaguar hanging on your wall? It looks like that model with the slightly varied shape from a normal Jaguar but I can't think of its name right now
Happy this channel just randomly showed up on my feed. Amazing quality in the videos. I remember playing this game during all nighters with friends back during summer vacation.
I did like the soundtrack. I got this game for Christmas of 97 but never played it much, I'm almost sure I never even made it past the first boss until doing this video. I was bad about that as a kid, also happened with Alien Trilogy, G-Police, and Colony Wars. But I'll get to them eventually, lol.
God this game brings back so many memories for me. I remeber there was a demo for some ninja game that came on my disc that i spent way to many hours playing. Thank you for this, great drive down memory lane!
This game brought back so many memories. Thank you for sharing this! you are honestly the only person I know who uploaded this review, Thank you again from the bottom of my heart
Played it through with a friend at his house (I was/am a Saturn owner) back in the day. Never liked brawlers; repetitive but we still managed to squeeze fun out of this one. Short and sweet and difficulty felt about right for two kids. Probably a 7/10 for me if we're rating (from memory). I'd say that's decent praise for coming from someone not a fan of the genre. Not about to replay it though.
I really wish this got a remaster for todays 4k graphics with a bit of updated features or abilities/extra ones, would love to see it again, was so sad the original did not keep all the characters in the sequel, was a lot of potential for Lore and update expansions with new characters and enemies
Huge beat em up junkie but really disappointed in fighting Force. My bro and I complete it in oen night and didn't even bother playing the others characters. Fighting force felt sluggish, the moves were lack luster, the bosses are boring. Die hard arcade is a much better 3D beat em up.
