@@moodyx5626 Sorry, I should clarify. The game is well made for the most part Arcsys is the best dev when it comes to visuals by far. The problem is even arcsys can't save these character designs. I mean I can't blame them at all they were given the task to recreate the look of a trashy fantasy anime in their distinctive 2d-3d style. In that they totally succeeded. When you add the extremally aggressive effect work to these already busy designs the screen just get's filled with so much noise. To be fair that would be fine in a VS style game but, it really clashes with the gameplay witch is incredibly slow. Now to be fair I have heard that they sped up the pace of the game with the re-release. I don't know since I have no interest personally due to the aforementioned aesthetic reasons.
You guys should give DNF Duel a shot. Every characters OP, It's a 4 button fighter where the special moves are a direction + the special or mana button. The supers are one button but you can only use it once your health is at a certain point and only once per round so it's wise to use it as a combo ender if it's for sure gonna help you win the round.
