Just another day at the beach, We went out to shoot a quick video for hour or two and next minute it turned out whole day recovering the trucks and saving mates 80 series from high tide.
It all started with Jeep hot oil warning and then 80 series experienced some issues and lost drive. Now we had couple of hours before the high tide will sweep in and here we go with recovery straps trying our best to get it away from the waves. We had help from few trucks but it started bogging us down, dead weight of 3 ton is not easy to pull after all.
Lucky for us, we had reception and few posts on help pages finally got message sent to Lucas and he rushed to help us out with his beast of a RIG.
What an Awesome Lad!! Looking forward to put his truck in videos coming up in the future.
Stay Tuned.

What to say here, been driving this beach for over 30 yrs, never got into a situation like this. Not sure why you would even think of driving so close to water, good way to flip your vehicle, you got off lighty.

There’s no way we were going to flip at 30-40 km/hr and it was mechanical fault with the mates truck that we can’t control so yea.

That had to be a little crazy with the tide rolling in. Glad you all made it off the beach.

Yes it was! we were lucky that day for sure.

That beach killed my truck 2 times, good on those who helped and sucks how others didn’t. That white rig would’ve helped you out, what a waste of truck when you can’t help people in need.

Lucky we have good 4x4 community beside 5% who ruins it for everyone.

You mean his friends who were drinking and doing donuts down at the other side? Don't make up stories, there was no intention to help so let it be. And I blurted the truck and just letting people know don't be like him and have some morals and be there to help people in need. I won't raise my kids like this for sure.

@@aleisciaphillips9930 we know what exactly was going over there, bro was offering whatever to save the truck and I tried to help even though my trans was overheating. Anyone could have towed quad if that was the case, he would've told me to go help his mate and tried to help. It's just pathetic how Bunch of idiots get on the piss and do dumb stuff on our tracks and beaches. No wonder why council is putting gates everywhere. Ignorance and no humanity is what I saw that day and we are not being entitled over here, it's just sad to see how we try to help anyone we can and do some good in 4x4 community where some are just ruining the name and making us look bad. I don't want to stretch this more but bro needed help and some including that guy disappointed him. We want to put it out there for everyone to see so they don't give up on helping others and at least stop by and have a chat, sometimes even giving ideas can be useful than making excuses.

@@aleisciaphillips9930 you were not there and you don’t know the whole story, if you’re talking about his friends then there were few at that end who were straight disrespectful at the beach and drinking and speeding past us, where we couldn’t even stop for long to save our trucks. Maybe those kind of friends need to be reminded not to scream for help when on the piss and driving. People like that are causing all the problems everywhere and media just point it out on the whole community. And I have helped tons of people no matter if they are my friends or not. My transmission was overheating and still helped few others on the way after trying to help the bro. If there’s someone interested to help then they would give it but clearly it wasn’t his intention to help the bro. He could’ve stopped on the way back and I could’ve helped to take his mate. But i don’t remember him towing his mate and any bikes at all. And if i wanted to shame him I wouldn’t have blurred his truck and posted his video coming back and ignoring us even when we were waving right in front of him. But oh well i hope we won’t encounter people like that when in need. But if i see him stuck somewhere just don’t think i won’t help, just give us a wave.

Nice little video mate really enjoyed watching it. What happened did you and the others you were with didn’t check on the tide times . And yes it sucks when other people don’t help each others out

We went to make short video and it was 5 hours before high tide. Sadly 80 series gave up on us and we had to save it from getting drowned. Took us 3-4 hours to think of ways to get it away which includes pulling with jeep and other trucks and even double pulls but sand was soft as hell on that day. But great to have awesome community members who helped and saved the day 🙂
