Further clashes between security forces and Mobondo militants are possible through at least late July amid renewed violence in Kwamouth territory, Mai-Ndombe Province. Clashes opposing security forces and Mobondo militiamen left at least nine soldiers and one woman dead, while about 40 militiamen were killed in the Kinsele area on July 13.
