Lancer isn't super hard to fight tbh. I fought one yesterday and 4 stocked him. Just dash away from vault when they are coming back down. Block behind you when they use blank, then release block on the last hit for knockback. You can block lunge and the 1(forgot the name), and their mode is worse than their base. Just block lunge, and the arrow rain thing (forgot the name again). If you don't have mode or , just block the one shot. They can't 100-0 after as long as you follow what I said above. (Downslam into vault isn't true, trust me) To be fair, I was using crocodile (yes, scum of the aba world), but lancer was easy to counter. I did have one Lancer slowly adapt to me, but he only took 2 stocks. Ps: if you get downslammed by Lancer, you lost a stock, so avoid m1 clashes. Lancer has sword m1s

@@EdmondDantes_o7 1. Only the second hit block breaks on soaring strikes 2. When vault is coming down dash.. 3. Jump over flourish while blocking. 4. Gae bolg was always broken, nothing you can do about that.
@@pureintellectualbeing3575 he's still mid with a good player because it has to do more with your opponent's ability, he only has one true combo extender in his kit and the skills are all very predictable. My point is there's not enough skill expression in his kit to differentiate a good one from a bad one other than a few things like blink thrust s and vault downslam
@@hitman1562 clearly you only play publics because its so ez to counter. block blink thrust = free combo, dodge vault = free combo, just avoid flourish by holding f then near the end dash back, and the dash is easily blockable
Lacer is so easy though LOL just hold F and jump before the last hit of any move and boom you won basicslly, and if he vaults into the air for downslam go under him to the back since the hitbox is worse than yoruichi's lmfao easy. If you can block hieis behind you, you can EASILY block kancers teleport
lancer vault is better than yoruichi down slam cuz the fact that yoruichi downslam is more fast and u dont have the time to calculate the move on the player, lancer vault is more free
