There's nothing like these types of beatings. The most THOROUGH destruction I received in a fighting game was from a SF Evo player (champ?) named 'Afro Legends'. It was like I wasn't even playing the same game as him and I wasn't a slouch at SF either but his execution of punishment and relentless offense was so beautiful that at certain points I would forget I WAS ACTUALLY PLAYING and just start admiring that level of technical skill 🤣

He’s not that good. All you have to do is up tech and mash when he does that flipping after smash property. And for his dp wake up just bait it. There’s a lot of baits for it that can still give you pressure after it. Lastly his dps are the easiest to make up for. All he had to do was make a block string full of mixups. Even so I don’t blame Soto cuz he’s using krillin which is still low tier in my opinion and uses 18 despite not maiming her

When facing the top tier, I make it a challenge to do things like "can I at least damage them/prevent a perfect?" or "can I KO at least one of their party members?" I think it just depends on your personal mindset. Are you playing just to win matches or are you playing for the challenge or to push yourself or even just to see what other people can do?

If you can't handle getting mopped because the other person has put in more time in than you than this genre ain't for you
