As a Catholic this reaches me to the point of tears. We are so strict and have so many rules. And al of us Christian’s have the Ten Commandments. And if you break any of the rules, you beat your self up, you feel bad and down about your self. You feel like the ultimate sinner. But we forget JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS. And god made you perfect in his and your own perfect way, so we are always good enough. WE WAS BORN/created in gods way. You are good enough and he will always love you. I can’t this brings me to tears.
I lost my relationship with the Lord somewhere along the journey of finding myself during my teen years. I'm now 21 and ready to open my heart to him again. Despite everything going on in this crazy world right now with the riots, global pandemic, racism etc. I've never felt so content than I do right now. "Took me a while, but I'm finally here". I cry to this song because my family always treated me like the black sheep i mean talking behind my back saying i wasnt going to ever do anything with my life i dropped out in 7th grade i was the only child in the home with a diffrent father i wont get into personal details but today i am the only one with my own place car no kids here i am 25 people said i would have kids by 15 this just shows me God really was here with me... I feel we have all been here at one point. Ive lost my baby back in febuary 2019 due to an eptopic pregnancy. Me and my husband was trying for 2 years. Broke me so bad. Lost faith in god. Felt so much pain and even questioned why. Felt like im not good enough as well. But I got on my knees and asked god to forgive me and you will bless us. As a minster's child, I use to sing this song at the age of 4 in the car with my late grandma and my late father. From then on I relied on God and music to help me understand why things happen. I am 16yrs old and still sing this song to let my friends know you don't have to change who you are to be accepted by someone or cover your flaws to fit in. Everyone is not perfect and some people might not like you for you but there is one person that was and still is perfect his name is Jesus and he still loves and accept you for who you are.

I listen to this song often and for the first time today I realize that I’m losing in this battle of life because I’m not fully connected with god. I really believe I’m not good enough for anything no matter how hard I try I feel like everything I touch or get around breaks or crumples.
