The last place i expected to find a hololive reference was in a video about a group of arma players fighting a skinwalker in hand-to-hand combat, but gotdayum i welcome it with the proudest arms i can give UNPOPULAR (but truthful) OPINION- Hololive/Holostars/Nijisanji was just as if not more influential as other content creators on youtube and other streaming platforms. Their content and influence leaked out and rooted themselves as tiny little references and memes in many videos (E.g. the recurring appearance of Watame in Max0r's videos or even Korone with her Eekum Bokum memes)

Fun fact skinwalkers are a bit more terrifying than you think because every tribe has different beliefs about them but the consistent thing is that they're not monsters..... they're sorcerers. Not the exact word for it but basically think voodoo, there are people who have the ability to skin an animal and gain powers. Every tribe has different beliefs some believe there is no physical change but if a skin walker wears a wolf pelt he becomes stronger, faster, and gains a keen nose. And others it's more like a werewolf where they become a sort of animal hybrid and then others are like what you're thinking of with the traditional shapeshifter. All of this to say they can basically cast magic and can absolutely curse you
