I played this game on Hard and before I climbed that mountain I just ran past all the machines because I didn't want to mess with them.
So luckily for this fight with the Stormbird I had completed Cauldron ZETA so I had the ability to override the Stormbird but I was wondering whether I would even have the chance to use it. Have your Shock Potions ready for the Storm birds Shock Attacks.
The Stormbird is weak to Shock, Freeze and Tear. To bring the machine to the ground I used the Ropecaster so it won't be able to fly. Here use your arrows to hit the major parts of the machine. Be sure to scan it every now and then to highlight those parts. Again I have a problem of not doing that😅
As soon as I saw the machine go down I ran towards it and was able to override it lol. Otherwise it would've been a longer fight
Here are the weapons I used:
Bombs from the Shadow Sling.
Hardpoint and Fire Arrows from the Shadow Hunter Bow.
Precision and Tearblast Arrows from the Carja Sharpshot Bow.
Try not to craft to may Precision Arrows because it uses up rope and you might need that to craft more ammo for the Ropecaster.
