What I liked about soy Luna is that she wasn’t naturally the best at roller skating she works to be better which a lot of shows don’t do. It’s usually new girl comes in and with natural talent over shines the mean girl who has been practicing her whole life. And with Soy Luna she comes in with basic talent and isn’t as good as Amber yet Amber feels threatened because she has potential. Which is a lot more realistic

I remember being such a violetta kid I had all the merch used to sing all the songs in English and Spanish and it still holds a place in my heart so all these other telenovelas cannot compare to it for me

I toootally agree with what you guys said about Soy Luna's first episode. The way they shot it was beautiful, the intro to the characters felt so natural, and the story just has this magic about it because of the personalities of the characters and their quirks and nationalities. I believe the point of the Go! Movie was basically to set up more the relationships/ friendships as there will most likely be a season 3. Definitely could of been better but I understood what it was doing

I really loved Violetta. I still love it a lot. The only complaints I had was the fact Violetta just never learns to stop lying to people which OBVIOUSLY keeps causing her to get into problems with those she loves. Another is the fact that Violetta and Leon can’t seem to just explain things to each other and just immediately assume things and are willing to break up without actually talking things through. Then they just spend the rest of the season flirting until they get back together in both the season… and it repeats EACH time for every season.

Soy Luna is the BOMB and will always be the best show ever!!!!!!! The songs, relationships, skating, character development, and just everything about it I loved!💕❤️💖 It’s amazing and it’s also taught me so much Spanish and I just love it!!

My favourite telenovela is *Bia* , I agree what you mentioned about it. It has an incredible story and I think she's a different protagonist, stronger, and she doesn't have a love triangle.

I'm kinda surprised you didn't include Floricienta, but also, it is kinda old so in that sense it makes sense. But it was *everything* for me when I was really little, and when Violetta came out I liked it since the first episode because it was the same kind of vibe. So I don't think anything could replace those two shows for me, but I think I'll have to check out the rest of these series. something that annoyed me SO much from Kally's Mashup was the fact that they didn't respect the way Argentinian people speak. I'm from Argentina and here (also in Urugay and I'm not sure if Paraguay too) instead of saying "tú" (which means "you") we say "vos" (which also means "you") when talking to someone else, and the conjugation changes beacuse of that. When international shows are dubbed, they do it in what's known as "neutral spanish" (which uses the "tú" form of the verbs) so when watching telenovelas with Argentinian actors, it's nice to hear people speaking the way we do. In Soy Luna or Violetta, there were actors from different countries and thay all talked the way people with their nationality do, and some even used expressions from their countries. In Kally's Mashup, everyone spoke "neutral spanish", even if they were from different countries. (sorry for the bad english, it's not my first language. love your channel💛)

SOY LUNA IS EVERYTHING! I´ve watched it since 2016 and I´m still watching!

At first I couldn't watch Soy Luna, Violetta had just ended and it was such a big part of my early teen years - even though I only saw the last half of season 1 and then the second and third season - I wan't ready to watch something different and I was also in a fase in which there where people making me believe that I was getting too old to like that kind of things. Once I got past all that I gave Soy Luna a chance and watched a couple episodes and I ended up loving the characters and the songs, I love how they show just how much Luna works to get better at roller skating because she loves it. It's truly inspiring.

Here's the thing, if we're going to talk about the superior novela, we need to talk about the teen novela who actually started it all(and I'm not talking the actually first one but the one that blow up). So in the 2002 Argentina created a novela name Rebelde Way it did good but then it have a Mexican remake in 2004 name Rebelde and that shit blow up the formula of singing teen novela, literally it was all over Latin America. In 2008, 2 years after the ending of Rebelde, it was created a novela name Isa TKM, and the thing that it represents was the start of North networks involvement, because was created by Nickelodeon, it was really good and pave the way for another's North involved novelas. And after that there was Violetta, Soy Luna and many other singing novelas. So I should put in the order that came out, even though Isa TKM make much more part of my childhood, I can not deny the success that Rebelde had.

This makes me wanna watch Soy Luna and Club 57. I can’t wait to start Soy Luna on Disney Plus!

If you want to watch something really good, watch Cris morena telenovelas (rebelde way, casi angeles, verano del 98, chiquititas) those are great, but idk if there are translated or wth subtitles. With rebelde way you can use a VPN on Netflix, because rebelde way is in the Argentinian Netflix.

As someone who doesn’t like telenovelas, Go Live Your Way is a pretty decent show honestly Like there are definently parts I hate but there are also parts I really like My fav songs were See You, Mia’s audition song, and the trap remix of Just Feel It(I don’t like the original version tbh) I only watched season 1 tho idk if I want to watch season 2 and the movie Edit: also watched a little bit of Soy Luna. I liked it the same amount of Go Live Your Way. I couldn’t finish the 1st episode but I will probably watch it again lmao

I finally started watching Soy Luna! Its so good, that I don’t mind having to read the subtitles! Also I wasn’t aware there were so many episodes, it’s definitely going to take me a while to watch them all!

Okay but the part about Violetta being annoying in S1 (at least in the begging) is so true. I used to LOVE Violetta, was everything I talked about for 3 years(was basically my second personality). But I remember trying to rewatch it when S1 came on Disney+ and I couldn’t cause I just got so annoyed, it ruined the picture I had as a kid of Violetta. Later S3 came on Disney+ and I loved it. I mean, she had major character development, but S3 is the only one that lives up to my childhood memory nonetheless!

Violeta is one of the only show I've finished from the ones on this list, if you talk about old novels like Peter Punk or Zeke and Luther, which were basically Disney xd, I can say that I'm definitely a fan, also of old shows like Hanna Montana or also from nick (Although I really like Kally). But in conclusion, I think Violeta is one of my favorites and is one of the occasions that I like to speak Spanish natively (I am Colombian), and I love the soundtrack.

Ok so I clicked on this so fast because Violetta was on the thumbnail and I've been waiting for a video where you finally talked about it lol So yeah, I'm kinda sad that you didnt liked Violetta that much, but I understand why you didnt and I'm ok with it, tho it does hurt a little lol From the ones you mentioned my favorites are: Violetta 🔜 Kally's Mashup 🔜 Bia 🔜 Club 57 (I havent watched Go yet and even tho I watched almost two seasons of Soy Luna, I stopped watching it because I didnt like it that much, I think the only reason I was watching it was because of my sister but I never got hooked on the story, really dont know why and then season two went on a break and I forgot to continue watching it, probably thats when I realized that I wasnt invested in the story lol) Anyway, I just want to share that I grew up watching these type of teen telenovelas, so I'm used to this genre I guess and there are so many other teen telenovelas that I would love for you to watch but I guess is kinda impossible because some of them are old and most of them dont even have english subs and probably never will 😔 So yeah Violetta is the OG from disney and it prepared the way for the next teen telenovelas/tv shows to come on this channel, there were also others that started it all and actually prepared the way in general for the rest to continue. I also have to mentioned that nickelodeon has been doing a good job with their telenovelas and even tho they have things that are similar to the disney ones they also have different things, like the stories and plots are very different from each other and they explore other genres, like fantasy and sci-fi like Grachi, 11-11, Chica Vampiro, Yo soy Franky, club 57 and with them that is the main thing and music just so happens to be part of it, while disney is not exploring others things and continues with the same formula of an average teen girl going through the different things every girl goes and lives, like falling in love for the first time, friendship, finding herself and all the drama that sometimes comes with this. The only one I remember that had something different while also having all of the things I mentioned before was Supertorpe, which was about a.girl that had powers and was trying to become a superhero, I loved it btw And dont get me wrong, I'm not saying this formula is bad, but lately disney is been doing it for a while now, it's the third time with Bia, and even tho I like Bia, well I'm still hoping for something a little different, like nickelodeon is doing it! Pd: I also have to say, refering to Bia, that I like what they're doing there with the villain, because Carmín, who we thought was the villain is not, or it looked like she was at first but she's not, is someone else and I like this plot twist in the story because is something different from what they have been doing!

You should really watch Casi Ángeles, Rebelde, Aliados, anything by Cris Morena, she's a genius ❤️. They're so different from what you're used to with the Disney telenovelas, but, personally, I think they're so much better. Although I don't think they have subtitles, at least not all of them, I'm pretty sure Rebelde does (the mexican version), it's more dramatic and plastic (?) than the original, but it is basically the same plot. Rebelde is my favorite telenovela, and I like Soy Luna too. Sorry if I misspelled something (I'm from México).

I just started watching Violetta (and it’s taking me a while to watch cause I don’t speak Spanish and I find it really weird to change the voices to English so it requires a LOT of reading. ) but when I watched the beginning I was literally so confused cause I’m just wondering why in the world the studio was included if Vilu wasn’t gonna go there. I would also like someone to tell me why Tomás doesn’t go to school. Like he started going to the studio but before that he just worked. Did he graduate? Episode 2: Miguel sees a picture of a young couple and thinks there is something familiar about it. The maid Amanda tells him that the woman on the picture is Sharon’s sister who died years ago. Meanwhile at an Retirement Home an old man named Roberto remembers how he saved Luna from a fire at the Benson Mansion, and at the end of the episode he tells his caretakers who have the IQ of a door knob that the aunt of the girl is named Sharon Benson. Episode 3: Roberto says that Sharon was in love with Bernie the husband of her sister Lili Lili and Bernie had a daughter named Sol who is the actual heiress of the Benson Fortune but Sharon thinks that Sol is dead while she’s actually alive and is right now Skating on the Rink.

I think this is definitely more of a personal taste thing because go is one of my favorites out of all of these. I recently started watching soy Luna and I like it a lot but a lot of these shows take so long to get the plot rolling. I like that go brings you into the plot and drama quicker I do agree that it’s a lot though and I could see why someone wouldn’t like the amount of drama it has. In my opinion go has some of the best music though and like your friend said great cinematography.

The thing with Violetta is it starts off really slow and boring so it's hard to get new people to watch it. Once she starts going to the Studio as a normal student it gets more interesting. Season 2 is so entertaining to me.

soy luna was cancelled for bia. which i find it stupid of disney to cancel popular shows for another when it is still at its peak but i also understand the need of it coming to an end after so many episodes. although i think they didn’t need to shorten the number of episodes in season 3 and given us more of lutteo relationship that wasn’t just 5 episodes.

I don’t really like Bia, i don’t see chemistry between her and Manuel. The show is just boring.

i think Bia is the best one like I love her personality her background and she doesn't feel comfortable singing because it reminds her of her sister and how she has memories of her and the fact that she doesn't live big but in a apartment kinda thing and the fact about Carmin is like she isn't really the mean girl, Mara is and I love how mara first is a shy and kinda quiet girl but then becomes really mean and over powers Carmin and if you watch more episode it's really good and has a lot of drama, about the car accident, the triangle, the cobra, and I love how everyone has his own personality like Chiara is kinda the silly one, celeste kinda strict and thinks things trough, daisy kinda the funny one and kinda obsessed with Jhon😂, and that the older brother is in a wheelchair and is sort of depressed and like the "forbidden" love and the two family's (the urquiza's and guiterez) are enemy's, I know kinda long but thats my opinion on Bia Edit: only thing though in the beginning its kinda bad acted😂

hi, i love this. i’ve seen violetta and go! all the way through and i’m currently like 10 episodes in to soy luna. i feel like i’m going to need to watch some of the others now! i mostly just came here to say two things: 1. i agree that violetta got so much better later on and going back to rewatch the first season is difficult! lol 2. personally, i feel like the go! movie is a pretty typical argentine movie. i studied abroad in argentina in college and i felt like every movie i saw there didn’t really make much sense and didn’t have much of a plot. and it has a super different tone from the tv show, which is definitely more novela-y. this video got me excited about watching more novelas during this shutdown, so thanks! :)

I saw Vioeletta on TV, I also saw Soy Luna, and right now in Spain I am watching BIA, and honestly for my taste it is better BIA, the actors, the plot of the series and the songs. For me, Dianey's best Latin series is BIA 😌❤️

I like Violetta it's a pretty good show. I haven't watched Soy Luna yet but I still have to remember to check it out on Disney Plus all the time. Because sometimes I would forget or be in a mood to watch other shows and I love the show Go. but Lupa is so annoying sometimes because she blames Mia on everything that she didn't mean to do in order to make Lupa herself mad.

You HAVE TO WATCH FLORICIENTA (first season only) which was such a hit for Disney Channel 16 years ago that they actually showed it twice; three times if you count the fact that after the first few weeks they added a rerun at night of the episode from 5 hours earlier, at least in Mexico. It's great and thanks to its success you now have Soy Luna and every other telenovela in this video This masterpiece by whom is basically the Shonda Rhimes, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber AND Tyra Banks of El París de las Américas is a true rollercoaster of emotions that hits E V E R Y S I N GL E emotional note that Mate(li)o Solano Villanueva WISHES her mother had written for him to narrate in such an effortless way. It may not be the most original conceit and there's barely any mystery as to who is who in the story beyond chapter 5 - of 175 for season 1- but it delivers everything you could hope for in a telenovela in a fantastic way; even when the second season does suffer and slooooooooooooogs for like 150 chapters of the 186 it has (unless you happen to like watching Benjamin Rojas) The plot, and this isn't a spoiler, is Cinderella meets The Nanny through The Sound of Music in a telenovela argentina. You'll sing, laugh, cry, scream, love, suffer and maybe discover a few emotions you didn't knew existed with everyone in this story, even Malala Torres Oviedo viuda de Santillán (la actriz que se perdió la nacion *) *the actress the nation was robbed off. Magda, nor Rose couldn't even dream of holding a candle to a villain like her and Rogelio de la Vega would bow to her acting skills and be like #merylwho?

Yes!!!! Lol I'm watching The Last Jedi and this popped up I'll watch it after and must I say I love Soy Luna and Violetta! Funny enough Lucasfilm was bought by Disney so it kind of is a Disney property but seriously this is CaitlovesDisney (Channel) so I'm gonna stop talking lol. I love Disney Channel as well! Update yeah Violetta is kind of frustrating but is the first of it's kind for Disney Channel so I'm continuing to watch and there are some good moments sprinkled throughout when Violetta and Thomas sing that song together at "resto band" or at least that's what he insists on calling It lol. So they don't go get together? That's sad honesty the way got together so cute and for Ludimila to be the reason why they break out like "this isn't working" yeah because of Her and her helper like wake up?! But, at least it paved the way for Soy Luna and I like it more so but I just laugh at Jade she might say something like "That girl is such a brat Mati!" "I want to marry Herman" that one scene where they were like "we're gonna be married" that was her brother and Jade I was like lol. I sometimes find Violetta annoying. But, Scrooge from DuckTales is rich and he's more interesting. Sorry weird comparison.

Para los chicos y chicas que vieron Violetta en el tiempo de Violetta ósea desde 2012 hasta 2015/2016 (con la película), Violetta sobrepasa todo lo resto. También vimos desees Soy Luna, Bia, Kall'ys Machup, Go etc. pero en el mundo entero, esas series salieron porque Violetta estuvo este fenómeno international y inesperado. Obvio hicecron esfuerzos para mejoras los personajes y las historias y todo esto en Soy Luna o en BIA, pero esas series fueron creadas para triunfar y tener éxitos. Los actores, y toda la gente que trabaja en estes proyectos saben que ahora es un producto que funciona. Aunque Violetta fue creada con actores que estaban empezando sus careras, que actuaron en la primera temporada sin ni siquiera saber que iba a tener una segunda. En los otras series, los actores ni siquiera se llevaron bien porque lo único que querían es tener éxito, aunque lo de Violetta fue totalmente inesperado, se creó una magia tan especial, una familia de Violettos y V-Lovers tan fuerte, una complicidad, amistad de actores mas humildes el uno que el otro porque ni siquiera sabían que tenían talentos. En los mayores países del mundo NUNCA una teen-telenovela tuvo tanto éxito. Genero un fenómeno así. En algunos países ni siquiera sabíamos lo que estaba una telenovela. Genero algo incomparable a todo lo que vinó después. Me acuerdo que cuando dijeron que iban grabar una película de cinema, y que para remplazar a Violetta la gente fueron tantas cosas en el mundo entero para que no se terminó. Disney Latinoamérica imaginó la serie de Soy Luna para surfear sobre el éxito de Violetta y eso verdad. Si, mejoraron un montón de cosas, pero el fenomenal de Violetta fue y es insuperable. En Francia, cada vez que sale una teen-telenovela, entiendo la gente de 20 hasta los abuelos decir "ah ok, es como Violetta !" Me acuerdo también cuando salio Chica Vampiro en Francia (4 anos después que salio en Colombia), todo el mundo decía esto "ah ok es tipo-Violetta". Violetta es una referencia para todos (como patito feo en America Latina pero al nivel mundial). Y es realmente mágico porque Violetta permitió a todas esas nuevas telenovelas de salir al nivel mundial, de hacer conocer y amar esa cultura. Y lo mejor es que permitieron eso con actores humildes, que REALMENTE NUNCA pensaron vivir algo así en su vida. Aparte el largo metraje "Violetta The Journey" es tan emocionado por esto. Soy Luna me gusto es muy muy muy buena serie. Pero nunca podría transmitir tanta magia porque los defectos de Violetta es lo que hace esa magia....

They took Soy Luna off Netflix (season 1 was on Norwegian Netflix before) because I'm guessing they're getting ready for the Disney + launch here (which most likely isn't until the end of March might I add) and now I'm having withdrawal symptoms. When some of the scenes showed up, I legit started crying... I've become too invested in this show

If you really want an incredible story from a teen telanovela highly highly HIGHLY suggest you watch patito feo and even the mexican version atrevete a sonar (though I personally think the argentinian version is better) and rebelde these are so iconic

I recommend ISA TKM, such a good telenovela❤❤
