The Quality Control definitely wasn't as good in this figure as other figmas. The crack that appears in the video happened to me as well. And they didn't stick the elbow joint properly, so it deformed the lower half of her arms. And you know what else is weird? She comes with all of the items she uses in her game... except the bug net, I mean, there's nothing inherently exciting about a bug net, but they already included all of the other stuff, why cut the line there? Well, if something had to get cut I'm glad it was that, because the Chinese do sell 1 : 12 bug nets on Aliexpress, so that's a thing.
Thank you for the review! Damn, that arm break feels awful. I wish her belt didn't get in the way of me wanting her seated! And the red tag on her left leg bag fell off on mine. *sigh*
She's pretty good looking, gotta play her games one day. I don't think the faces of one figma are meant to be compatible with the heads of another but I think most of these can have the entire headpiece replaced. So if you want some characters to cosplay as others you can do that.
Yes, but you wouldn't believe me how many times people ask me if they can swap faces with the most random figmas. And I keep thinkin the same thing you pointed out, just swap the entire head cause all of them are able to do that.
i like your review, its funny.. +subs here.. but im agree this figure is very expensive and that elbow is heartbreaking.. still, very very nice figure..
Hi. Sad to see the damage to your figure. Mine is okay, but I just noticed that all of these Ryzas have deformed forearms because the joint peg hole wasn't straight. Important question: Among all the Figmas you own, are there any others that have sleeveless arms with the same length and skin tone as Ryza? I was thinking of maybe buying one of the cheaper Figma body ones (e.g swimsuit, sweater, etc), or even Hoshou Marine since she comes with spare sleeveless arms) if their arms are similar to Ryza. Then I can use their arms as a replacement. Unfortunately I'll lose the glove and bracelet detail but it's a fair compromise
@@therealPayne Thanks for the reply! I actually just ordered the Figma Ange (Plastic Angels) in the hope that her bare arms can be used as a substitute. If that doesn't work out, I might try Makoto like you suggested (but maybe the swimsuit version as it's cheaper and has the bare arms also).
I've just got this figure a few days ago and i totally love it, there is an interesting thing on the thigh articulation, besides the rotation there is also a ball peg inside that allows you to move the leg angle from this part, kinda like some revoltech figures, i first thought that my figure had an cq issue but it doesn't, i was not expecting this kind of articulation on a Figma figure but i think it's a positive finding :)
@@therealPayne By the way i just tried the jacket and sleeves parts and it got instantly broken at the exact same part of yours, i think it's a recurrent quality control issue in this concrete figure, it's a shame, i don't even know if i can get any replacement as i got it from Amazon :(
Don't worry, the broken shoulder thing happened to me too. Sounds like it's a manufacturing defect or something. I liked this figure but compared to other figmas the quality of this seemed somewhat fragile.
@@therealPayne Checking it well, it is because that area of the edge the PVC is too thin and the printed letter with the "R" is very marked. It is the only explanation since just sliding it broke that part. But I'm happy to have Ryza figures. =)
Oof, that crack is unfortunate, hopefully you'll be able to get a replacement soon. I bought it, but she's waiting for me to get another job to pay for the taxes once it arrives lol. Seems like a fun fig besides the fanservice stuff.
