Sounds good to add properties in the basic style guide, after you start creating molecules of components, would be better focusing on variants only. 🙂

Thank you for the video. The point of Boolean is to reduce the number of components (Let's say a button component will now have 10 variants instead of 50). My question is, if the 50 button components were already used in design files by other designers from a shared component library, and the buttons get reduced to 10 using Boolean, any impact this could have on the designers' design files?

I normally measure with time. If its taking like 3 hours to update all those 50 components then keep on using them rather than shortening them to 20 components. But still it's up to you, Maybe in future, you can't avoid doing it so do it before its a necessity

When I hide the icon the frame of the icon is still visible. Why is this happening sir?

Remove the frames of the icons. Sometimes framed dashes you can always see. Can you try to check in prototype mode

Warning: It's important to note that component properties don't support prototype interactions. If you want to create prototypes with your components, you'll still need to use variants. Then what is the use of these changes if it doesn't work in prototype?

Yes, that is why sometimes you don't want to use that much specs and use simple components to show interactions on different artboards

I agree, some features confuse a lot of newbies like Auto Layout, it is too confusing HUG and other settings. Similarly this one too

@@learnuxid you’re right. I had a hard time figuring auto-layout (still do). There’s nothing auto or automatic about auto-layout, you have to set every constraint MANUALLY, and that beats the purpose of being called auto.
