I’ve sat in a wreck awaiting medical professional to get me out of my car while I was broken and banged up. First responders are absolute heroes. Think about how many people can’t watch a RU-vid video about a fatality but first responders see death every shift. They don’t hesitate to help us when we’re the victim. When you’re writhing in pain and scared to your core, a fire fighter or EMT or police officer is all you want in that moment. I’m so grateful for those who choose that profession.

I can only imagine the relief you get when you see a firefighter or medic come up to you and start helping you after something like that. I just hope it’s only imagining and I never have to actually experience that.

"Think about how many people can’t watch a RU-vid video about a fatality but first responders see death every shift." That is PRECISELY why I'm here. I don't have the stomach to live in their shoes completely, but I feel it's important to understand their sacrifice as much as possible. Forcing myself to see what they see is my way of paying tribute to their service.

My fiance was killed instantly when he fell asleep at the wheel after a long day at work and hit a tree. Our son was 5 months old at the time. I'll never forget the knock on the door and my mom talking with someone and then screaming , saying how am I going to tell her. I thought he had gotten in trouble and that's why the police where there. The reason I'm saying this is because it was also on July 25th, but in 2013, so when I saw the video date I got chills. My son is 8 now, and I try to keep the memory of his father alive for him! Rip Christopher Pierce. We love you baby! Your son's playing football now! And he loves the Patriots just as much as you did!

My brother and son do this for a living and I've seen my brother reduced to his knees in tears . No strength to get up because he was so heart broken by what he witnessed at his job. He came in the door and hit his knees. I also recall a few nights him waking up screaming when he first started volunteering at the fire house . He woukd get runs at all hours. He started at 15 riding his bike to the firehouse until he got a car. Now my son is a paramedic. Thank you to all who help us ❤ 🙏🏼💕

In the state of New Jersey they have the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team. It’s led by a few licensed therapists but a majority of them are volunteers themselves who have “been through it before” no matter what “it” is. Suicides, mass casualties, children, losing a fellow volunteer in the line of duty. Call them and they are with you within 48 hours.

I’ve watched a drunk driver speed up in front of me and hit a yielding car turning left on a crossroad. Hit the car and tboned it. I immediately pulled my ebrake and slammed on my brakes. The passenger of the car was a 13 year old girl, when I pulled back the door and felt for a pulse there was nothing. The mom got out of the car unharmed and immediately pulled the drunk driver out of the car and started literally trying to kill him with her own hands. I immediately got on the phone with 911 and gave them the crossroads and cops and ambulances showed up within seconds because there had been calls prior. Also while on the phone literally pulling this lady off of the dude who hit their car. Then the cops cuff the man, and people wearing white came out and pronounced the little girl dead. The mom was just bawling and she cried and hugged me and said “thank you for trying to help my daughter” I immediately got back in my car and went home. I didn’t sleep for 3 days. I was put in that position for a reason though.

Jeremy Espinosa of Los Angeles was arrested and booked on a murder charge in the death of 18-year-old Eddie Sanchez, according to the Los Angeles Police Department’s Central Traffic Collision. LAPD said Espinosa was under the influence of both drugs and alcohol and was driving recklessly when the vehicle slammed into the light pole in the 3800 block of North Figueroa Street on July 25, 2019. The collision trapped three people inside the car and firefighters had to extricate them before taking two victims to a hospital in critical condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

One of my friends kids was so upset by these videos she yells at people who don’t where there seatbelt. Drives the speed limit and is a better defensive driver thank most adults. The man on the ground was the brother maybe? Under the video it says the driver's brother pulled him out of the car and played him down. But if he were alive I think he'd of been on a stretcher so maybe your right, they did cover the person with a sheet. Maybe the info under the video is alittle wrong. Very sad what happened.

Iam a Licensed Mortician and deal with death on a daily basis. From peoe in their 90's all the way back to fetuses and everything in-between, I've seen it all. There is nothing more heart breaking when children and teens are involved. Especially when it comes to tragic accidents. There is nothing worse then hearing a blood curtuling scream from a Mother when they first come into the funeral home and seeing their child laying in a casket. Or I should say any death. Not all peoe react the same but, the worse are the kids. I have been in the business for over 40 years now and I do my very best to make sure that any injuries that may be visible are covered up. It takes a special person to do what I do. Dealing with the distraught family when they come into make the arrangements until the time of seeing their loved one laying in a box. And also the other kids from their school. I have had a set of parents leave before the visitation was over excuse of all the influx of kids coming in from the high school, it just overwhelmed them too much. Where I am, we hold visitation both daytime and evening. So a usual visitation is from 2-4 pm and again 6-8 or 7-9pm. It's a occupation that can wear one out physically and mentally.

93ish white honda civic EG. Roll cage* racing seats* most likely quick release steering wheel so no airbag. light weight wheels. OEM brakes. OEM skinny tires... exhaust and most likely a common B16 or B20 engine swap* yep, Super light car with much more power than stock plus a really stiff chassis due to the roll cage on skinny oem tires equals death trap if it's not on a track.. based on the impact damage, atleast 60 or 80 mph.

@@AFellowDoktuh Rolls cages main purpose is to protect you and a passenger if your car ends up rolling over keeping the top from crumpling and crushing your head into your body (if you have seatbelt(s) on). Also, depending on the purpose of the cages, they can try keeping car together and protect you if gets hit on the sides. The quality of the install also matters, can't just stick bars anywhere with weak weld joints. Look at NASCAR for example, Rolls cages does aid in protection during high speed crashes.

I was a passenger in the front seat of a car when a former friend, who was driving, hit a car and we flipped. I awoke being thrown into the windshield. Luckily i had my seatbelt on and I didnt go through it. But I landed on the seat belt buckle and broken 8 ribs. It felt like a solid 45 seconds of gasping for air before I could take a deep breath. Longest seconds of my life. It took over an hour for fire and rescue to saw off the doors and get me out. I passed out when they put me on the stretcher, but its been almost 9 years and I still remember the voices of 2-3 EMT/Firefighters who rescued me. They talked me through the pain , de escalated my fears, even called my parents who lived overseas at the time. God bless the 1st responders. I was in a car crash on my birthday was 3am going home from the club I was a little tipsy but nothing to much my DD stopped at an intersection and as we are talking a car smacks us from the side completely ripped the engine block out of the car and sent us to the other side of the intersection shit sobered me up immediately. As soon as I felt us stop moving I look at my friend and ask him if he’s ok he says yeah and we both hop out the car I literally dropped cuz my knees couldn’t handle my weight and I started checking myself if anything’s broken and there’s nothing I get up and I hobbled my way across the road and check on the driver of the other car and he’s not the car and I look on the other side and there’s a dude laying in the street with a lamp post laying on his motorcycle a couple feet from him, I came up to him and checked if he was alive and he’s having trouble breathing I tried to put him on his side so he breathes correctly and he started breathing right again and a bunch of people were coming out of the other clubs and they started telling me to leave him alone and that I’m gonna hurt him and they started getting aggressive and the dude tells me not to leave him as he’s spitting blood out of his mouth but they started pushing me and shit and I guess i can’t handle a drunk aggressive mob. The ambulance came a couple minutes after they threw me across the street and pronounced him dead. Worst part is the two passengers of the car that hit me flew out of their car and were killed too. They were found in a ditch on the other side of the road 30 yards from their car. Police came back with a report saying the car was traveling at 200kmh. If they had turned into us even 2 feet more me and my friend wouldn’t be alive today. 3 people died that night and 2 walked away with aching bodies.
