These are just incredible. Fourhorsemen have GOT to do a mummy with a sarcophagus now. Absolutely agree Bastet should have had a snarling, open mouth head. Best Figura yet!!
It's brilliant they included the swappable parts, so in the collection they can either be gods or people/priests in masks. It's as if each combination is a different character
That box thing reminds me of the Ark of the Covenant from the Bible and portrayed in Indiana Jones. I am not into the expensive figures but think I’ll want to get these two figures. They will go great with Boris Karloff The Mummy. Canopic jars are what those jars the organs go into.
I had to grab these, they're fantastic, though I've grabbed most Figura Obscura, only one I don't have a version of yet is Father Christmas, I'll grab the retailer one sometime. I had also photographed Anubis with the Mummy and Mummy Mikey, and I photographed Bastet with the Hasbro D&D Guenhwyvar (a black panther) and a Marvel Legends Black Panther, given a version of the same god (with the variant name Bast) is featured in Black Panther comics and in the Black Panther movie.
Thanks for showing these next to an Indiana Jones figure. I thought these might look cool in an Indy display, but I wound up passing on them due to lack of funds. Loving this line, though.
*monkey disliking solidarity fistbump* I love this set so much, so, so much. It's being delivered Monday but I've been checking the tracker half hourly since it shipped. Bastet is my favourite Egyptian goddess. First Figura Obscure but I am all in for this Egyptian god sub-series. I wonder if the Hathor and Osiris on the packaging is a hint of which are coming next. Love the photos of Bastet chilling in the sandpit.
That’s what I was wondering about the art work on the packaging as well! In a live stream they said they’re planning on doing an entire sub-line on the pantheon, so they’re probably coming up at some point!
